Next morning, when Hywel comes in, he asks where Gaynor was earlier; “I went for a walk to clear my head,” she replies, and when he tells her he is about to collect Sheryl, she warns him, “Last night was a one-off! Your girlfriend is expecting your child. I haven’t decided yet whether I will tell her or not.”

Kelly is working on her story in the café; Debbie complains,

“You’ve bought one coffee in an hour and a half,” so Kelly orders another one.

Gemma comes in and Debbie greets her, “How’s it going? It must be nice to be normal again.”

Gemma points out that she was normal before. Kelly invites her to sit down;

“I really want to impress the boss, but I’m panicking and my mind goes blank!” Debbie suggests she write about people taking advantage of their local café.

Tessa visits Colin, who tells her he is not working today. “How many shops did you say you had?” enquires Tessa, and he tells her the first number that comes into his head – four. Jac has been waking Tessa every two hours, and Colin suggests she should go home for a nap, while he looks after the baby.

She is reluctant, having not left him with anyone before, but Colin persuades her that he would love to look after Jac.

“Tata, Mami,” he says.

| Sheryl is back |
Sheryl arrives back at Llwyncelyn, with Hywel fussing over her; “I’m glad you’re back,” says Gaynor, “I’ve got something to tell you.”

Hywel is frantic, expecting her to give details of their nocturnal activities, but she announces,

| "I'm moving out!" |
“I’ve made a decision – I’m moving out. I’ll be gone by the end of the afternoon, but it’s only temporary. Once the court decides it is my home, I’ll be back – and I’ll keep up the mortgage payments – your solicitor would love me to stop! You’re the fool around here, not me!”

| Sheryl is ecstatic |
Although Hywel reminds her it is only temporary, Sheryl giggles wildly, “She’s leaving – that’s all that matters!”

| "I remember watching Titanic" |
Dai and Diane walk along the street, thinking of going to the pictures; “I remember sitting in the back row, watching Titanic – I cried like a baby,” says Diane, and then realises, “Oh, that was with Reg!” When they see Gemma ahead, they deliberately cross the road.

| Kelly gives them a mouthful |
Kelly takes violent exception to this, and runs across to confront them; “Oi! It’s not catching!”

but Dai insists it is not right for Gemma to be walking round the village. “Kelly is furious; “What are we supposed to do – lock her up? She’s not a criminal!”

They she begins to berate them for the way they treated Anita, when she wanted to see Meic; “I don’t blame Anita for not coming back! She’s staying with Darren in Canada – and I’m not surprised with friends like you!” Dai and Diane walk away

Gemma expresses concern about Dai’s attitude; “I thought Ed was bad enough, but that’s what I have to put up with. People don’t know how to deal with me.” Kelly appears to have a bright idea.

Gaynor promises to collect the rest of her stuff over the weekend, and whispers to Hywel that she will not tell Sheryl, as she is too ashamed. Hywel is not happy about her going, but she taunts him,

| "Hoping for an action replay?" |
“Hoping for an action replay of last night? Get lost!”
She tells them she will stay in an hotel, but Hywel insists that will cost a fortune; “Why don’t you stay in the flat?” he asks, much to Sheryl’s annoyance;

she insists he should have discussed it with her first. “Well, you’re not living there!” he shouts, and Gaynor tells them to wait until she has gone, if they are going to argue.
Hywel will not back down this time; “You’re welcome to stay in the flat, and we’ll pay the rent!” He ignores Sheryl’s protests.

“Well, the flat would be great,” agrees Gaynor, “Can I have the keys, please?” When Sheryl does not make a move, Gaynor asks, “Do you want me to move out?”

| "Right, I'd better go!" |
Gaynor tells them, “Right, I’d better go – I hate to think what the place is like! You’ve already proved you have no standards, haven’t you?”

Triumphantly, Sheryl announces, “I thought she’d never go! What are we going to do tonight? We’re celebrating! This what we wanted!”

Hywel is less jubilant; “You’re celebrating – why does it feel so wrong? I’m going to work.”

| "Gemma is at the Therapist's" |
Kelly goes to the Deri flat, but Ed tells her that Gemma is visiting the therapist, and thanks Kelly for her help. She reveals that she wants to write an article about Gemma in the magazine; “It’s a story that needs to be told – people are clueless about mental health. If we talked about it more, people would understand it.”

Ed is totally against the idea, stressing that Gemma needs to be left alone, not upset; “Write about mental health, but leave Gemma out of it!” he insists.

Colin is showing off his baby to Wiliam and Iolo; “There’s nothing to this baby business,” he boasts, but Wiliam points out that they are easy when they are asleep. Then Gaynor comes visiting and also admires little Jac.

“We shall have to compare him with your photos of the girls,” Colin tells her, but she replies it may not be so simple now that she has moved to the salon flat.

“What? You let them win?” exclaims Colin, but she emphasises that she will get Llwyncelyn back.

| "There's steam coming out of my iPad" |
Kelly is attempting to continue writing the Bulimia story, when Helen phones to tell her the deadline has been brought forward to Thursday. Kelly tries to give the impression that this will pose no problem; “There’s steam coming out of my iPad!” she says. Then she jumps up and hurries out of the door.
Diane has gone off the idea of seeing a film; “I’m worried about Anita, and miss her. I wouldn’t be surprised if she stayed in Canada – there’s nothing for her here any more,” she tells Dai.
They meet Colin and Gaynor with the pram; “Don’t you think you’re too old to start this nonsense again?” Dai asks Colin, who thinks maybe he might get it right this time.

“Maybe it’ll teach you to keep it in your trousers!” he continues, and Colin asks he he wants a look. “Nefi wen!” exclaims Dai, misinterpreting Colin’s comment.
“A look at the baby!” Colin corrects him.

They remarks that Jac is very cute and then walk on, with Gaynor noticing that Diane is in a funny mood.

Hywel returns in a conciliatory humour, and Sheryl fears he may be losing enthusiasm with her.

“We are happy – aren’t we?” she asks, and he agrees that they are.

Then she comes up with the idea of a “Baby Shower”, which Hywel describes as “American nonsense”.

“Gaynor’s only just left - let’s make the most of having the place to ourselves, just you and me!” which sounds very similar to what he was saying to Gaynor yesterday.

Debbie meets Jac and congratulates Colin, remarking that she can’t wait for Vicky to “pop”.

Tessa comes in, after a good sleep, and is introduced to Gaynor; “We’ll go now, so you can get back to work,” says Tessa. Gaynor was under the impression that Eileen had given him a day off;

“Who’s Eileen?” Tessa asks, and Colin calls her his secretary.

Gaynor has worked out what Colin is up to, and enquires, “Remind me, how many staff do you have at the moment?” Colin thinks it is about twenty,

and then seems very anxious that Tessa should leave.

He explains to Gaynor that he wanted to impress her when he was flirting, but did not know that they would have a baby. Gaynor warns him, “You don’t want to mess up from the start by telling lies.”

Kelly goes to see Gemma in her bedroom, and says that she must be strong to handle idiots like Dai. Gemma replies that they are not all as extreme as him, but it happens every day.

“I can see it in people’s eyes - they don’t know what to tell me, or say the wrong thing. There’s a long way to go yet.

She offers Kelly a cup of tea, and while she is gone, Kelly checks the recording device in her pocket, which has been gathering data for the magazine article.
