| "Moc abused him" |
Ffion admits that Gethin does not know she is there, and explains, “Moc abused him when he was a little boy – it has affected him terribly, as you’d expect. ![]() |
| "That's a convenient excuse" |

![]() |
| "This is stressing me!" |
but Sheryl’s response is, “Angela said I wasn’t to be stressed, and the lack of a nursery is stressing me!”
Hywel predicts that Gaynor will go crazy; the reply is, “Good! Lois won’t want the room after Gaynor has moved out, and if you do this, she might!” She judges that Rhys’ room would not be a sufficient size for all the stuff the baby will need. “We agreed we want Gaynor out before the birth, so what’s the problem?”
![]() |
| "You're my problem!" |
“Hywel is becoming angry; “You are my problem! You’re taking things too far this time!” and he throws the magazine which gave her this idea into the bin;

| Ffion tries to persuade Natalie |

![]() |
| "He is so ashamed" |
Natalie maintains that Gethin should have told her, but Ffion adds, “He should have done a lot of things, but he is so ashamed – there’s so much going on inside his head! He needs a chance to prove himself, otherwise the damage will keep going on and on.
![]() |
| "It's not right to let Moc win" |
“It’s not right to let Moc win, and you’re the only one who can do something about it.”

![]() |
| "Have you had enough of me already?" |
“I know you asked Kelly to be my friend – I heard you talking! Have you and Ed had enough of me already, and now you’re trying to offload me?” Sioned’s accusation that she is overreacting has no effect, and Gemma stalks off to pack her bags.

| Britt, making as much noise as possible |

![]() |
| "How about cutting Siôn some slack?" |
Britt asks Garry if he can cut Siôn some slack, but Garry is adamant;
![]() |
| "He needs to be taught his lesson!" |
“I want him to think twice before doing anything as stupid as stealing from Bethania again. He needs to be taught a lesson, or you’ll end up in a worse mess!” Britt appears to agree with this.
![]() |
| "You need to stop overreacting!" |
Kelly comes to see Gemma, loudly saying, (in her characteristic mixture of Welsh and English) “So what if Sioned set up our chat? What’s wrong with that? You need to stop overreacting!” Kelly sees Gemma’s bags, ready for her departure;
![]() |
| "Get used to it!" |
“You’ve got to stop this ‘poor me’ business, and find some perspective! You’ve been hurt, but it’s not the end of the world – deal with it! You going to stay – or leg it?”
Gemma accepts two tickets for tonight,
![]() |
| Sioned is happy |
and hiding behind the door, Sioned smiles at another crisis averted.

| "We've been paying the price" |
“You had a choice when you decided to buy this place, and we’ve been paying the price, haven’t we?”
![]() |
| "I know - she phoned me" |
Ffion arrives back at the flat and tells Gethin she has some news; he already knows. “You’ve been to see Natalie! She phoned me, to sympathise about what Moc did.
![]() |
| "I told you not to interfere" |
“You had no right to use that as an excuse – I told you not to interfere. I don’t want help – I don’t want everyone to know what happened; you’ve no right to put pressure on me! Get out of my sight, Ffion!”
![]() |
| "Shut up, sit down and listen!" |
Ffion reminds him he cannot throw her out of her own flat, and tells him, “You’re not going anywhere – shut up, sit down and listen! You can’t run away for ever.”
![]() |
| Hywel finds piles of stuff everywhere |
Hywel returns to Llwyncelyn to find all the stuff from Lois’ room in the lounge. Gaynor arrives soon after and is horrified to see such a mess. “We’re turning Lois’ room into a nursery,” announces Sheryl,
![]() |
| "Nothing to do with me!" |
and Hywel points out that it was not his idea.
![]() |
| "I don't care whose idea it was!" |
“I don’t care whose idea it was!” rages Gaynor, “You think you can waltz in here and throw Lois out? This is her home, and nobody is going to change that! I’m taking this stuff back upstairs!”
Hywel ineffectually pleads that they should stop arguing and get along together;
![]() |
| "You can't have two wives, Hywel!" |
Gaynor replies, “Like one big happy family? You can’t have two wives, Hywel!”
![]() |
| "You're not Moc!" |
Ffion is still working on Gethin; “How many more times? You’re not Moc! You deserve to have a relationship with your son.” When he is convinced that he will let Daniel down, she continues, “Things are going so well with Arwen; you feed her, play with her, look after her – everything that a father does.”
![]() |
| "I always wreck relationships" |
He still insists that he wrecks every relationship, sooner or later.
![]() |
| "If you can love me, you can love Daniel" |
Ffion tells him, “You haven’t done it with me, and it would have been easy, after what we’ve gone through. If you can love me, you can love Daniel, and give him a chance to love you back.” He argues that he is not ready, but Ffion points out he will never be ready if someone does not push him.
“Monday – you’ve got nothing to lose,” she says,
![]() |
| "If it goes wrong, it's your fault!" |
and he agrees, but stipulates if it all goes wrong it will be her fault.
![]() |
| "Your behaviour is disgraceful!" |
Between ferrying things upstairs, Gaynor addresses Sheryl; “Your behaviour is disgraceful! You’re cruel, selfish and totally childish!” She turns to Hywel, “And you’ve got no backbone whatsoever!”
![]() |
| "If you don't like it, move out!" |
Sheryl’s response is, “If you don’t like it, move out!”
“Do you honestly think I’m going to do that? You can provoke me as much as you like – I’m not moving out, not for you, or you, or your baby!”
![]() |
