26 June 2015

Garry delivers a bag of money . . .
Garry marches into the Deri with a large black bag, which he places on the bar;  “There you are – £15,500!” he announces.
. . . but Britt objects most strongly
Britt tries to tell Siôn that this is not the answer, but he is adamant that it is the only answer.
“You don’t want to be indebted to him!” rages Britt,
Siôn assures Garry he will soon get it back
but Siôn is busy thanking Garry, and assuring him that as soon as Megan sees the statement, he will pay the money back.
Jim has to listen to Eileen's moaning
As Jim tries to put a sock on Eileen’s bandaged foot, she continues her complaint, “I hope Cadno’s had time to ponder what I said.   She came all the way over here and still did not apologise!”   When Jim points out that Cadno has been through the mill, Eileen reminds him that Cadno does not have stitches and is not on crutches.
"She almost shot me!"
Jim says that everyone is judging Cadno;  Eileen’s response is, “She deserves it - she almost shot me!   She’ll get one more chance to apologise at the party!”
Sioned, with the trifle which features later in the episode
Sioned is preparing the cakes and trifle for the party;  Ed comes in and says nothing.   “You can’t ignore me for ever!” she tells him,
Ed is not sympathetic to Sioned
“I can’t do this without you – I have to go to Penrhewl and face people.”   Ed simply walks away,
Garry wants an answer
and then Sioned receives a text, asking, “Have you decided?”
Cadno is glad DJ is back
As DJ takes a rest, Cadno tells him how grateful she is for his work on the farm.   He is anxious to know how she is, and she reveals that she sleeps with the boys at night to make sure they’re safe.
"It could have been worse!"
“It could have been worse,” says DJ, “You could have shot her!”
She is insistent that DJ should be at the party;  “I can’t cope with Sioned, Auntie Marian and Eileen on my own.”
Britt hears Iolo has made his decision
Britt goes to visit Iolo, finding him looking happier, and he tells her he has made his decision.   “It’s as if a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders,” admits Iolo.   She is dismayed to find that the decision is to finish with Wiliam, but Iolo assures her,
"This is the only way"
“I’m not worried any more;  Dad was right.   I have to put my health first, and this is the only way.”
Siôn thinks he has sorted thing out . . .
Sion calls Megan over to Y Felin, where he shows her the bank statement to prove that the missing money is now safely back in the Bethania account.
. . . and emphasises how repentant he is . . .
He emphasises how sorry he is for giving her all this worry, and maintains that he has learned his lesson.
. . . but Megan has some bad news for him
“Seeing this is a relief,” Megan begins, but then continues, “It was not your money, to do as you saw fit with in the first place!   Now I don’t trust you.
"I'm taking everything home with me!"
I’m taking everything home with me tonight – I want every password you’ve got, every scrap of paper related to the account.   You can’t be trusted with a piggy-bank, let alone a bank account!”
What is in that brown paper parcel?
Ed is at Ben and Helen’s, where he is carrying that brown paper parcel;  they warn him, “You must keep a clear head, and don’t let them intimidate you!”   Ed agrees that Ben cannot do it, after what happened yesterday, and sets off on his mission.
Jim apologises to Cadno
Eileen, Sioned and Jim arrive at Penrhewl;  Jim apologises to Cadno for being so inconsiderate yesterday.
Wiliam arrives in a good humour . . .
Wiliam arrives at number 7, telling Iolo he has never been so glad to see the end of his shift.
. . . but is given some bad news
Iolo breaks the news;  “I’ve been thinking, and realised that the best thing for everyone is for us to split up!”
"You've been talking to your father!"
Wiliam immediately assumes, “You’ve been talking to your father – he’s had it in for me right from the start!”   Iolo insists that it is his decision, no-one else’s, and that everything has changed.   “This is for the best, and this is how it has to be,” he says, regretfully.
Marian is pleased to see the trifle
Marian is impressed by all Sioned’s preparations for the party;  “Trifle is my favourite,” she tells them, “And you’ve gone to a lot of trouble.”
Eileen is determined to stir up trouble;  “Sioned has gone out of her way, haven’t you, love?   Making sure everyone’s all right.”
Sioned is summoned by Garry
At this point Sioned receives a phone call, and after initially saying, “I can’t!” soon agrees, “Give me half an hour!” and dashes away from the party.
"Thanks for patching up the bales"
Jim whispers to DJ, “Thanks for patching up my mess with the big bales,” and DJ stresses that he did it for Cadno.   Jim is of the opinion that he needs more training on the tractor.   He also admits he was too hard on Cadno, but regrets, “There’s nothing I can do about Eileen – she’s completely out of control!”
Superman in action
Ed is carrying out his mission, which is as Superman at a children’s party;  he runs round, followed by a gang of squealing children.    He tells them, “Go and get something to eat,” and joins Ben and Helen, who tell him he is doing a great job.
A mother wants to book Ed for another party
It transpires that Ben has had his appendix removed, so is unable to fulfil his booking, and Ed has stepped in.   He even has one of the mothers wanting to book him, but Ben will be available again in a fortnight.
Sioned pleads for assistance . . .
Superman has a text from Sioned, pleading for him to go and meet Garry with her, but he sits down to chat with Helen.
. . . and Helen encourages him to compromise
She tells him, “Ben and I argue constantly, but in the end, we love each other.   You have to compromise and forgive.”
"Please, Iolo, don't do this"
Wiliam pleads, “Please, Iolo, don’t do this – you’re scared off by this marriage business, so let’s forget it.   I don’t want to lose you!”
"London is where you belong"
Iolo’s mind appears to be made up;  he tells Wiliam that London is where he belongs, and now there is nothing holding him back.
Wiliam sadly leaves, hoping that Iolo will not regret his decision.
The return of the OCD
Iolo sits on the sofa, and painstakingly places the two remote controls in their proper positions.
"I've messed up!"
Siôn hurries to the garage, where he tells Garry, “Listen, I’ve messed up!   Megan insisted on taking control of the account, and it’s impossible for me to pay back the money!”
"There's no rush!"
Garry appears very conciliatory;  “There’s no rush, you’re my brother-in-law, and not likely to run away to France, so what’s the problem?”
Siôn cannot believe his ears, and tells him, “I know we haven’t seen eye to eye over the years, but you’re a good man!”
Scheming Garry's plan progresses
Garry says he can pay it back when he can afford it, and they hug.
"I don't want to hear from you again!"
As soon as a very relieved Siôn has left, Sioned appears, telling Garry that she regrets starting the business with him;  “I don’t want to see or hear from you again!”
Garry suggests that he may go and see Eileen,
Superman gives Garry a good laugh
but on seeing Superman walk in bursts into peals of laughter.
"You're not going near Eileen!"
Ed warns him that he is not going near Eileen, but Garry replies, “Says who?   Superman and Lois Lane?”
Ed’s answer is, “One word to Eileen and I’ll tell the police it is all your doing!   Sioned has an alibi – she was with me all night!”   They leave, as Garry describes than as pathetic.
Eileen starts being argumentative . . .
At the party, Eileen says, “It’s strange, being back here.   I could have been killed, right over there!   All because I put someone else first.”   Again she emphasises how helpful Sioned has been, and adds, “It doesn’t take much to ring and ask how someone is.”
. . . and Cadno is only too willing to retaliate
Cadno’s anger is rising;  “There was a time when Sioned wanted to shoot us, you, me and Bobi inside me!   But that was no accident – oh no, she knew what she was doing!”
Eileen insists, “She was depressed, her father had just died!   I want an apology – you nearly killed me and haven’t said sorry.”
"You can come and go as you please"
Cadno replies, “If you had used a bit of common sense, it wouldn’t have happened!   But you’re too important to let me know you’re visiting in the dark!   You can come and go as you please!”
Eileen grabs a handful of trifle . . .
Eileen is incensed, shouting, “You spiteful cow!”
. . . and it finds its target
as she hurls a handful of Sioned’s trifle at Cadno.   As Jim hurries her away, she snarls, “You’re going to pay for this!”
"What is it with you?"
Wiliam marches into the Deri and angrily confronts Siôn;  “What is it with you?   Don’t you want Iolo to be happy?   Well, you got what you wanted, and I hope you’re satisfied!”
After he has departed again, Britt reveals that they have finished,
"The day gets better and better!"
and Siôn beams, “The day gets better and better!”
Enter Superman!
Then Ed and Sioned come in, much to the amusement of the regulars at the bar, with Ed considering he has earned himself a pint.
"I'm not happy with what you did"
Ed tells Sioned, “I’m not happy with what you did, but I think you have been punished and learned your lesson.”
They appear to be reconciled
She assures him that she is really sorry, and they kiss.   Siôn tells them that even superheroes need to pay for their drinks, otherwise he will slip some Kryptonite into them.
"Garry's been very generous!"
Siôn gleefully informs Britt that Garry has told him there is no hurry to repay the money;  “He’s been very generous – it’s all going to be all right!”
Britt thinks otherwise;
"Garry doesn't do anyone favours"
“You’re so naïve!   Garry doesn’t do anyone favours.   You’re indebted to him and there’s no turning back.   I hope you’re ready for that!”
Eileen is still furious
As Jim helps Eileen to the car, she fumes, “Who does she think she is?   She thinks she got away with it, but we’ll see about that.
"I'm phoning the police!"
I’m phoning the police – Cadno will be prosecuted for this!”
