Eileen returns in a taxi from the hospital and is helped into the shop;

| Siôn manages to escape Megan's gaze |
Megan rushes across to see Eileen, and does not notice Siôn, who then hides in the chippy.

| He hides in the chippy |
He tells Britt he is trying to avoid Megan, and has not answered her phone calls; “What am I supposed to tell her?” he whines. Britt replies, “The truth would be a change! She’s a Christian and has a duty to forgive.”
Siôn hopes that he can prove to her that the account balance is where it should be, and show her a statement, then he can repay Garry.

| Britt gives Siôn a stern warning |
Britt has other ideas; “Owing Garry money is worse than anything Megan can do – I’ve warned you!”

| Wiliam visits Iolo . . . |
Wiliam, on duty, visits Iolo as he has not yet given his statement, “And you haven’t answered my texts either,” he says.

| . . . but Iolo says he is busy |
Iolo replies that he will call at the police station, but is busy now,

| "You could have killed Eileen!" |
Jim arrives at the farm and shouts at Cadno, “What’s wrong with you? You could have killed Eileen! You could at least phone to see how she is – after all we’ve done for you here. But that’s it – I’ll never lift a finger again! You can rot in manure for all I care!”

| "We're better off without you!" |
Cadno shouts back, “Good, we’re better off without you! You should be ashamed of the state of those bales. I lived in fear of the thieves returning, and no-one thought to tell me Eileen was on her way. If you thought your property was being targeted again, I bet you wouldn’t sit back and let it happen. Get lost, Jim!”

| Ed asks a hypothetical question . . . |
In the café, Ed asks Sioned, “If you suspected someone was up to something, up to no good, maybe against the law? I think someone I know has got themselves into stealing – should I tell them I suspect them?”

Naturally Sioned assumes he is talking about her, and blurts out, “I regret it so much – you have to believe me! I feel terrible, first Cadno and now Mam.” Ed is at a loss to understand her, but then the penny drops.

“You did steal the quad! You gave me your word, and made me feel guilty for doubting you, while you were plotting with Garry behind my back.”

| Wiliam asks how Eileen is |
Wiliam comes in and enquires after Eileen. Ed rather pointedly comments to him, “If only we knew who stole the quad in the first place.” As Wiliam leaves, Garry comes in,

| Ed has a call for a taxi |
and Ed has a phone call, urgently requesting a taxi; as he goes, he remarks to Sioned, “I’ve nothing to say to you – you’d rather talk to him.”

| "Now is the time!" |
Garry sits down opposite Sioned; “Now is the time. No-one expects another theft at Penrhewl, after everything that’s happened there – it’s the ideal time to get the 4x4.”

Sioned demands, “Don’t you have a conscience at all?” but he is confident that she will agree in the end.

| Cadno grabs a handy weapon . . . |
Cadno is in the tractor shed when she hears footsteps; she arms herself with a sickle which just happens to be lying around, and creeps toward the intruder who is on the other side of the tractor.

She jumps out, wielding her weapon, only to find it is DJ, back from his break. “Why didn’t you phone to say you were coming?” she demands.

DJ is keen to get back to work to relieve the pressure on Cadno, as he has heard about what happened. “We’ll start by segregating the lambs,” he says.

Siôn is at home, looking at the friendlyloan.wales website when Iolo arrives, looking for Britt; as she is at the cash and carry,

Siôn offers his help. Iolo explains that Wiliam has asked Iolo to marry him, and he does not know what to do.
Siôn tells him that he already knows;

“He came here, making a show of asking my permission. The whole idea is ridiculous, getting married so soon – I’m glad you’re sensible enough to realise that.

“You can’t trust anyone who wants to run before they can walk – either they’re hiding something or they’re unstable. You don’t want to be stuck with that all your life.”

Iolo gets up and complains, “You can’t help yourself, can you? You have to preach!” and storms out, with Siôn calling after him that he is only telling the truth.

Ed arrives at Ben’s to find him limping up the path with an injured arm and wanting to go to the hospital urgently.

Jim is stuffing first aid plasters from a drawer into a plastic bag when Eileen wakes up.

| "I'm surprised Cadno hasn't phoned" |
She cannot understand why Cadno has not called; Jim explains she is going through a rough time, and got upset with him earlier.
Eileen insists, “I’m willing to forgive anything if someone admits they’re wrong – it’s not asking a lot – then we can move on.” Jim is confident that Cadno will call, sooner or later, and hurries off, telling Eileen, I’ve got to sort out a mess with big bales.”

Sioned has visited Penrhewl, where she suggests a birthday party of Auntie Marian tomorrow, to cheer them up after recent events. Marian is in favour of this idea,

and Sioned rejects a phone call from Garry.

DJ comes in, looking for a book, and finds the mislaid spare key.

When Ed returns Ben to his home, there is an awkward silence, then Ed says,

“I’ve been in some terrible situations – I almost went bankrupt not long ago. I know it’s none of my business, but I’m concerned about you.” Ben invites him in as he wants to ask a favour.

Sioned goes to the garage and emphasises, “I’m not doing another job at Penrhewl, and that’s that! People are getting hurt!”

| Garry adopts a threatening tone |
“It would be awkward if Ed found out,” threatens Garry, but Sioned says that he already knows. “I’m sure Cadno and Eileen would like to know the truth about you,” Garry continues, “One more job at Penrhewl, and I keep my mouth shut.” Sioned walks out.

Cadno arrives at Eileen’s with flowers, where

Eileen is still in pain, with many painkillers and twelve stitches in her leg.

Cadno tells her that Marian is looking forward to seeing her at the party tomorrow, and makes a cup of tea. Eileen is disappointed that Cadno has not apologised for what she did;

“You should have asked who was there before shooting!” she says.
Cadno is unrepentant, maintaining that Eileen should have phoned before coming, but Eileen did not think that a joint owner needed to phone.

“Joint owners and landlords are supposed to give 24 hours’ notice, legally,” insists Cadno.

“I’m fairly sure that no-one has the right to shoot them!” responds Eileen, and adds, “I’ll be over at the farm tomorrow – there, you’ve had your 24 hours” notice!” Cadno walks out.

Jim, having earlier applied plasters to the holes in the bags,

finds that they are peeling off, so he removes them,

tearing the bags even more in the process; as he goes away, disgusted, DJ comes and surveys Jim’s handiwork.

As Britt is at the Deri bar, looking up goodbyedebts.wales, Iolo comes in, wondering what he should do.

Britt advises him not to look on the negatives – “You have a lovely bloke who wants to spend his life with you.”
Iolo is afraid that the worry will bring on his OCD again, but Britt assures him that he is stronger now, and he will make the right decision.

Siôn rushes in and hides out the back, telling Britt, “If Megan wants to know, I’m not here!” She tells Iolo,

“Whatever you do, don’t be like your dad – don’t run away from problems!”

Then Megan does in fact arrive, looking for Siôn; “He’s out the back!” says Iolo.

When Siôn sees Megan, he insists that he wanted to talk to her, and that he is unable to get any sense out of the bank.

When Megan resolves to go straight there and see the manager, he changes his tune somewhat.

“I haven’t been completely honest with you,” he begins, “I saw my opportunity and took it – I transferred the money . . . into a foreign share account!”

“What right did you have to do that?” demands Megan, “You’ve been pulling the wool over my eyes for ages. When exactly do you intend repaying the money?” Siôn tells her that he has already started the process, and Megan is adamant, “I want proof that the money is paid back into Bethania’s bank account, where it should be!”

Ed comes into the Deri, and receives a text, reading, “I’ll see you before the job at 3.15,” presumably to look as if it has been sent to him in error. As Ed hurries Sioned upstairs, Garry comments,

“Ed, haven’t seen you for ages – we must catch up.”

| "Don't be angry with me!" |
Upstairs, Sioned pleads, “Don’t be angry with me – I’m angry with myself!” Ed is disgusted that she stole from her own family.

| "You're nothing to do with me any more!" |
“I don’t know you at all! Do you know what? Do what you want from now on – steal cars, launder money, break into a bank, sell Auntie Marian – I don’t care! You’re nothing to do with me any more!”
