Sioned walks into the garage, where Garry gives her a share of the profits of the Quadbike job; “You deserve every penny,” he tells her, but she leaves uncharacteristically quietly.

| "Wiliam and I have split up!" |
Iolo goes to the Deri and tells Britt, “I guess you’ve heard – Wiliam and I have split up! He accepted a secondment in London, but didn’t tell me, and Dad took great pleasure in telling me.” When Britt insists that his father thinks the world of him, Iolo responds, “He has a strange way of showing it! I don’t want anything to do with him!”

| "I'm sick of the tension!" |
Britt tells him she is sick of the tension, and wishes life would go back to how it used to be; “You don’t know the half of it,” she laments, and Iolo wonders what is going on.

| "Siôn can't take much more" |
“It’s very stressful for us, with the chapel and the pub,” she says, “Siôn can’t take much more – please try and forgive him.”

| "Let's get a nice bottle of wine" |
Sioned meets Ed in the street and suggests that they buy a nice bottle of wine; “I’ve made some extra money on the taxis, and we deserve a nice evening,” she says. Ed thinks he will cook a meal for them.

| Cadno arrives with two children |
Cadno comes in with the boys, apologises to Eileen for her outburst last night, and asks if she will babysit. Jim offers to help at the farm, but again Cadno refuses. Sioned asks, “What about the new Quadbike?” but is amazed when told that the insurance company will not pay out;

“They can’t do that!” she exclaims; Cadno replies that they have.

Sioned then receives a text from Garry – “Come round.”

| Diane reminisces about her daughter |
At Bryntirion, Diane shows Gemma a photo of Emma when she was a baby, and regrets that they do not see her more often;

| "You have to let go of your children" |
“You must let go of your children, and hope that they are happy,” she says.

| Mark is back . . . |
Then Mark visits again, and although Gemma does not want to see him, Diane invites him in.

When Mark tells her that she should see a doctor, Gemma replies, “You’re hilarious!”

Mark continues, “Your behaviour is not right – trying to kill Dani, accusing Gwyneth. It could get you into trouble!”

| "I haven't done anything" |
Gemma responds angrily; “I haven’t done anything – you have no right saying that! You’re not my friend – Diane is my friend!

| "Do you want me to tell people what you did to me?" |
“Now go away, or do you want me to tell people what you did to me? God help you if Diane thinks you hurt me!” She calls Diane and wants Mark thrown out,

but Diane proposes that they sit down over a cup of tea and have a chat.

| Garry gives details of the next job . . . |
At the garage, Garry tells Sioned, “There’s a tile company in Carmarthen with a terrible security system, where they store big boxes of stuff in the warehouse. I’m targeting the place at the weekend, with your help.”

| . . . but Sioned does not want to know |
Sioned refuses, as she has just seen Cadno, who is not getting any insurance money, but Garry is adamant that it is not their business. “She has lost a lot of money,” wails Sioned, so Garry tells her to give Cadno some of hers. “Then you’ll need more money, and where will you come? Here!”

Britt complains to Siôn, “You promised you wouldn’t tell him, and you’ve broken his heart! You did it for your own sake, pretending to care for Iolo, but actually driving Wiliam out!”

| "What if he found out what I did?" |
Siôn argues, “What if he found out what I did? What if he told Iolo? I don’t want him to think badly of me.”
Britt replies that he has done a good job of that himself; “Iolo doesn’t understand you, and is starting to smell a rat! You got exactly what you wanted – to see the back of Wiliam.” Siôn is afraid he has lost Iolo too.

When Britt urges him to go and see Iolo, he asks, “Where would I be without you?” Britt’s reply is blunt; “In jail, probably!”

| Wiliam turns up again . . . |
Meanwhile, Wil turns up at the door of number 7; Iolo tells him to come in and collect the rest of his stuff.

Wiliam says, “I couldn’t tell you – I was afraid of hurting you, afraid you’d finish with me.”
“Right on both counts! No go and get your stuff, it’s still in the boxes,” answers Iolo.

Wiliam blames Siôn for the break-up, and wants to try again, although Iolo does not consider it worth the hassle.

| "We're meant to be together!" |
“Come to London with me – we’re meant to be together!” pleads Wiliam,

| Iolo suggests living apart |
but Iolo points out they have done nothing but argue since they met. He then suggests that they live apart as a trial, “But if you deceive me again, that’s it!”

| Not what is usually kept in a casserole dish |
Ed is planning his cooking, and gets a casserole dish off the top shelf; he is surprised to find a wad of notes inside it, but replaces it when he hears Sioned coming.

| "Chicken or steak?" |
He asks if she prefers chicken or steak, but she is preoccupied; “Should we go to Penrhewl to check on Cadno?” Ed points out it that it is none of their business and they should keep their noses out.
He goes to buy ingredients, while Cadno takes the bottle of wine and heads for the farm.

When she arrives there, Cadno is thanking Jim for his help and he tells her that someone should stay there overnight.

He checks the security of the window catches, but Cadno insists she will be all right, arguing that the burglars got what they wanted.
Sioned gives her the bottle of wine, and offers to help tomorrow,

| Cadno assures Sioned that she is fine |
but Cadno assures her that all is under control.

| "Gemma has been no trouble" |
Diane tells Mark that Gemma has been no trouble at all; he insists,

| "Gemma is ill!" |
“I’m not one to tell lies, but Gemma is ill.”

| "There's nothing wrong with me!" |
Of course Gemma denies this, and Diane says she is just fragile, but Mark urges her, “If you’re worried, take her to a doctor.”
Diane has been convinced by Gemma; “No wonder she’s upset after how Gwyneth treated her! She’ll get better slowly.” Realising he will get no further, Mark leaves, but not before giving Diane a card; “This is someone who can help her,” he says. Diane puts the card down on the table.

As soon as her back is turned, Gemma tears it up.

| "I found the money" |
When Sioned arrives home, Ed announces that he found the money, and asks where it came from. Sioned tells him they have had a good month on the taxis, and she hid it in case anyone broke in.

| "Can we give some to Cadno?" |
“Can we give some of it to Cadno? She didn’t get any insurance money,” she asks.

| "We worked hard for that money" |
Ed answers, “We worked hard for that money, and have every right to enjoy it.”

Siôn goes to number 7 and begins apologising to Iolo, but then sees Wiliam.

| Iolo tells Siôn the latest news . . . |
Iolo tells him, “As it happens, you did us a favour. We’ve realised how much we mean to each other. Wiliam is going to move to London, and we’re going to try to make it work, living apart.” Siôn is reasonably content with this.
However, Iolo continues, “We’ll prove you wrong, Dad, and if it doesn’t work – I’ll move to London!”

Then Wiliam comments, “Or I’ll come back!” which definitely does not please Siôn.

Night has fallen, as Cadno, in her dressing gown, checks the windows, then sits, looking worried, on the sofa.

Gemma, wearing Diane’s dressing gown, comes downstairs, and expresses her thanks for all Diane has done for her;

then she takes from her pocket, a photo of Dai and Diane.

When Britt arrives home, Siôn reports that he has been to see Iolo and that he and Wiliam are back together.

Then he suggests a trek in Pembrokeshire; “It would be nice to spend time with the children, and maybe invite Macs and Huw.”

Britt’s response is, “Wiliam is not invited, is he? You got what you wanted.” Siôn worries that Iolo might go away with him, and Britt tells him,

“There’s another son fed up with you, but you should be used to that! Do you know what? I might join them! You’ve lost the plot – Iolo hates you for what you did, but here you are, booking a holiday as if nothing has happened! You should give up your silly ideas, because they ruin everything for all of us!

Sioned is worried, and Ed suggests ringing Cadno;
