Anita and Kelly are off shopping
Anita and Kelly are shopping;  Kelly explains that her marriage broke up because she wanted children and her husband did not, and it went downhill from then on.
"Jinx is having better luck than me"
She remarks that Jinx is having better luck than her and Anita agrees that he is now very happy.
Mark invites Gabriella to his house for a meal
Mark calls at Meic’s to see Gabriella and invites her for a Spanish meal at Maes-y-Deri.   As he is leaving, Debbie comes in with chocolates for Meic, but Gabriella will not allow her to go upstairs to see him, as he did not want to be disturbed.
"Who are you to say who's allowed to see him?"
“Who are you to say who’s allowed to see him?” demands Debbie, and storms off.
A flyer for the new Indian Restaurant
In the post at the Deri is a flyer for the new Indian Restaurant, opening next week.   Siôn worries that it could have a serious impact on them, and advocates using the profit from the Christmas period to attract more customers, such as adding a pool table.
Britt wants the chapel money repaid
Britt is more concerned about paying back the debt to the chapel.
She is angry that they did not fight harder to stop this Indian Restaurant;  “A lot of our profit is from food sales, and although Ows is good in the kitchen, he’s not a chef!   How can we compete?   Our standard’s not all that high lately!”
Gabriella answers the door to Debbie again;  this time when she demands to see Meic and is refused, she announces,
"I've called the authorities!"
“He would see me before you turned up, but we won’t have to put up with you much longer – I’ve called the authorities!   We don’t want you here – it’s time you realised that!”
"Well, what do you think?"
Amid all the red “Sale” labels, Anita finds a dress she likes, and Kelly comments,
"You look as if you're going to a wedding!"
“You look as if you’re going to a wedding!”
"Maybe I am"
“Maybe I am,” replies Anita, and Kelly realises, “You and Meic!”   Anita tells her it is to be a private affair on Tuesday, and invites Kelly to take some photographs there.
Iolo likes the play on words
Iolo comes into the Deri, and finds the forthcoming opening of “Cwm Delhi” quite amusing,
"This is serious," insists Siôn
until Siôn points out that it is a serious threat to both the pub and the chippy.   Iolo suggests they should have a range of healthy, organic meals, but neither Siôn nor Britt are very keen on the idea.
Gabriella is about to make her exit . . .
As Meic sleeps in his armchair, Gabriella quietly comes downstairs with her bags, puts on her coat,
. . . kissing Meic . . .
gently kisses him,
. . . and leaving a note
leaves a note on the table and goes out of the back door.
Geraint gets in the way of Debbie's view from the café door
A taxi is waiting there, and as she gets into it, Debbie watches from the door of the café, smiling with satisfaction as the taxi leaves.
"Gabriella, where are you?"
When Meic wakes, he finds his glasses and calls for Gabriella;  receiving no reply, he sees the note, which reads,
Then he finds the note . . .
“Sorry I didn’t say goodbye, but I had to leave.   Someone told the authorities that I’m here illegally.”
. . . and shows it to Darren
He furiously dashes out of the front door, and Darren sees him, running to ask what is wrong.   Meic tells him that Gabriella has gone, and Darren goes to try and find her.
Mark leaves a message that the meal is ready
Mark has prepared the meal, and leaves a message for Gabriella that it is ready.   When she does not arrive, he sits down to eat alone.
Darren arrives back with the news that there is no sign of her, and Meic accuses him of driving her away;
Debbie watches Meic railing against his son
“Who else would want to get rid of her?  You had your knife into her from the start – I hope you’re pleased!   Shame on you!”
Anita takes charge as Meic appears to be in a bad state
Anita arrives back at that moment, and as Meic continues to accuse and Darren to protest his innocence,
It is a bit late for regretting your actions now!
Debbie is watching from across the street.
Kelly says she will go to Mark's
Kelly hurries to Maes-y-Deri, to see if Gabriella is with Mark,
He is shocked by the news
and when she arrives, tells him that someone has tipped off Immigration.
The strange mixture is actually quite tasty
Iolo produces a sample dish of beans, onion, tomatoes and lentils;  despite its unappetising brown colour, Siôn describes it as, “Interesting,”
and Britt is surprised that, “It tastes nice!”
"You're crazy if you think people will eat that!"
Then Darren comes in, looking for Gabriella, takes one look at the concoction and pronounces, “You’re crazy if you think people will eat that!”
Back to the drawingboard, then
Siôn concludes the menu will have to stay the same, but Britt thinks that gimmicks are the way to go – “Two for the price of one.”   Iolo suggests focusing on five or six dishes, and offers to help in the kitchen.
"I'll cut you out of my will!"
Meic is still raging at Darren;  “Tell me where she is, or I’ll cut you out of my will!”   Debbie is let in by Anita as Meic continues, “ You’ve wanted to get your hands on my money from the start!”
Darren is about to pack his things and stay at a hotel near the airport, and Anita shouts, “No, Darren, no!” when Debbie interrupts.
"It was me.   I sent her away."
“It was me.   I sent her away.   I didn’t report her, just told her that I would, to scare her.   She wouldn’t let me see you.”
Meic is overwhelmed
Meic, in tears, says, “She was looking after me,” but Debbie insists,
"She was after your money"
“She was taking advantage – she wanted your money.   I thought you’d give her my share of the café.”
Meic advises her that his will is none of her business, but informs her that he was leaving his half of the café to her, “Because I think so much of you.”
"I feel so ashamed!"
“Now I’ve accused my son of doing something terrible!   Can you forgive me?   I feel so ashamed!” he says to Darren, who assures him that he thinks the world of his father.
To Debbie he says, “Get out of my sight!   I want my friends and family around me, not you!”
What have you done?
As he sobs, Debbie shamefacedly leaves, and outside the door, reflects upon the enormity of what she has done.
