Dai is in the shop, buying a packet of “All Grains” as he cannot have croissants for breakfast; he accuses DJ of being scared to attend the club last night. “I lost two pounds,” boasts Dai,

| "Well, I've lost three pounds!" |
but DJ replies that Angela has just weighed him, and he has lost three.
Angela points out to Dai that his cereal is full of calories and sugar, so Diane instructs him it is muesli from now on.

Iolo and Wiliam come downstairs, but before Iolo can make pancakes for breakfast,

| . . . and Iolo has to nip across to the shop |
he has to visit the shop; while he is gone,

| Wiliam has a text message |
Wiliam looks at his phone, where there is a text from Eryl, reminding him, “Don’t forget to pay for the cottage today.”

| DJ tries to console Cadno |
Cadno is rather depressed, but DJ remarks, “If Gethin is really in love with someone else, it’s just as well he was honest with you – it’s his loss!” Cadno decides it is high time to start dating again, and is going to join a dating website; “I won’t find the man of my dreams in Cwmderi,” she says, to DJ’s disappointment.

Jim enquires of Siôn as to who is doing the damp-proofing at Bethania, and is told, “JT Bennett of Carmarthen;” Jim has never heard of such a firm.
He goes upstairs as he is starting some tiling, and is expecting Dai to join him;

three youths, including (the new) Chester, come into the shop,

and while Eileen’s back is turned tip over a basket full of flour bags on to the floor, before running away.

As Wiliam and Iolo watch television, commenting disparagingly on what kind of woman does not know who her baby’s father is, Britt visits to ask Iolo to babysit on Wednesday, as it is parents’ evening.

She is rather excessively pleased to see Wiliam there, and when she invites them to dinner tomorrow night, Iolo declines.
After she has gone, Iolo says, “She can be a bit ‘full on’!”

Wiliam replies that he would like to meet Iolo’s family, so Iolo agrees to reinstate their dinner at Y Felin.
DJ comes into the farm kitchen with the news that the posts in Cae Glas need fixing before the cows get out;

Cadno is preparing her profile for the “TIaFI.co.uk” website, and reads it to DJ. “Farm girl from the wild west, likes the outdoors, animal and a few pints. Loves the Royal Welsh and rugby.”

DJ is of the opinion she should add that she is, “Pretty, funny and knows her own mind! Men would be queueing up!”

As she clicks on the “POST” button she asks why he does not also join the site; he replies, “It’s not my scene.” She is insistent, and tells him, “I’ll write your profile – we can support each other – give me one good reason not to join.”

Eileen tells Jim of the terrible mess that she had to clear up in the shop, and says that Trystan is turning into a real hooligan.

Then Diane comes in to get Jim to sign a tax form; she cannot find Dai, and Jim says he was supposed to be working on the tiling there.

When Cadno and DJ return from fence-mending, Cadno discovers she has had a match to her profile, but somewhat disheartened to find it is (rather too predictably) DJ.

As she exclaims, “How hilarious is that? Imagine the two of us on a date!” DJ’s face falls.

Diane returns home to the sound of loud music and Dai lying on the floor, wielding what is, apparently, an enormous “Bosu Ball.” Dai explains, “The bloke in the sports shop in Swansea said it’s just the thing for losing the pounds!”

Diane is more concerned that he is supposed to be tiling, and also that he will give himself a heart attack, but Dai is determined that he will get one over on his cheeky nephew; “No pain – no gain!” he tells her.

Iolo goes to the Deri, where he tells Britt that Wiliam has gone home to pack a bag, ready to stay the weekend. He asks if the dinner offer tomorrow is still open, and Britt enthusiastically agrees.

When Iolo has been challenged to a game of darts by John Post,

| "I shall be busy damp-proofing all day tomorrow" |
Siôn arrives and tells Britt that he will be doing the damp-proofing at Bethania all day tomorrow, as it is such a big job.

| "I shall be busy meeting translation colleagues all day tomorrow" |
However he tells Iolo the story that he is meeting some translation colleagues, and postpones the dinner until Monday.

Relations are rather strained at Penrhewl; Cadno apologises for what she said. “I didn’t mean to hurt you, don’t want things to be awkward between us. I think the world of you – as a friend.”

“That’s how most women see me,” admits DJ, “I knew deep down you didn’t feel the same way.”

| Angela becomes angry with Dai . . . |
Diane has called in Angela, who warns Dai of the dangers of going overboard with the exercises. “It won’t help if you turn my club into a silly contest! If you don’t stop, you’re not welcome at the club! I won’t let you put my reputation in jeopardy.”

Dai insists he knows what he is doing; “I’m an ‘all or nothing’ man!” he protests, but is taken aback when Angela announces,

“You’re banned! It’s not my fault if you end up in Bethania’s cemetery!”

| DJ is highly embarrassed |
DJ tells his troubles to Iolo in the Deri; “I was so embarrassed! How can we live under the same roof, now she knows how I feel?” Iolo advises, “It takes a brave man to acknowledge his feelings.”

As Eileen puts the rubbish into the wheelie bin in the alley, Chester and two others kick a football at her, and when she complains,

they march manacingly towards her, chanting. She dashes back inside and locks the door.
As DJ walks past APD, he notices a car pull up;

| "Be a good girl for dad, right?" |
Wiliam gets out and says to the little girl in the back, “Be a good girl for dad, right?”

| "Thanks for the lift, love!" |
Then he kisses the woman driver, saying, “Thanks for the lift, love.”

Troubled, DJ retreats out of sight.

| "That Chester is getting out of hand! . . ." |
Eileen is very concerned at Chester’s behaviour, but she does not want Jim to go and have a word with Siôn and Britt about it.

“There’s no point after the way she reacted last time,” she concludes.

| DJ is about to tell Iolo what he has seen . . . |
Iolo comes out of number 7, across to the shop, where DJ is about to tell him what he just witnessed.

However, Wiliam follows him across, saying they need Wasabi nuts; “They will have never heard of them!” comments Iolo, and goes into the shop, remarking to DJ,
