At APD, Jim is flaunting his “Everest” card; “Pretty, isn’t it?” he comments. Dai offers him a £5 note, then “a brown one,” but Jim insists,

“A couple of purple ones, at least!”
Dai protests that Jim’s card is not worth anything without the rest of the set; “You weren’t interested until you saw my cards.”

Diane reminds Dai that he was not interested until he found them in the attic. Dai replies, “The Wonders of the World opened a door into my childhood!” and blames Diane for forcing him to get rid of them.

Then Garry comes into the shop, to collect the alarm he had ordered, and pays the £200 cost. Dai leaves on an errand.
In the Deri, Mark tells Siôn that Dani must be better, as all she did was moan.

PC Wiliam, in uniform, comes in, apologising to Siôn for last night; “Iolo said I talked too much,” he says, but Siôn admits that he preached too much. Mark jokes, “Just because he’s in uniform, he doesn’t get preferential treatment.”

Gwyneth is infuriated to find Gemma vacuuming; “Did you clean for Megan too?” she asks. Gemma offers her money, and says she has booked a table for lunch.

When Gwyneth refuses her offer, Gemma calmly tells her, “If Garry asks you about the accident again, it would look very odd if you and I didn’t get on – or if the cops asked.” Again, Gwyneth is forced to agree.

When Jim arrives at her shop, Megan tells him she has been drafting the advert for the website, and Jim offers her £10, but she dismisses his offer; “I wasn't born yesterday!”
Then she sees Gemma outside and rushes out of the shop;

“You left my home in a bit of a hurry!” she shouts.

When Gwyneth says she was under the impression that Megan threw her out, she denies it vehemently.

While he is looking at the new alarm, he explains to her that what happened to Dani was not an accident, but was possibly a result of their last job together, the stolen car.

Mark is getting on Siôn’s nerves; “It’s handy having a copper in the family – lock-ins, no need to fear the knock on the door.” Siôn explains to Wiliam, “Mark is the village comedian – or likes to think he is!” When Mark mentions the £10,000,

Wiliam asks, “Wasn’t that money from someone who used to work here?” and Siôn explains that it was from Meic Pierce, and was for the Deri.
Wiliam offers to take Siôn and Britt out for a meal, but Siôn makes excuses about being constantly busy.

Dai visits Megan in an attempt to get the album returned, and offers a donation to Bethania as a bribe; Jim and Diane follow,

with Diane suggesting that the only way out of this stalemate is for them to bid against each other.

Wiliam visits Iolo to asks if he fancies going somewhere when his shift finishes, and mentions he was with the “Rich Landlord,”

which Iolo knew nothing about. “I offered to take him and Britt out, but he didn’t want to know – I don’t think the uniform helps.”

Mark continues to infuriate Siôn with his calculation that at £3.50 a pint, Siôn’s windfall could buy Deri customers 2,800 pints.

Mark joins Gwyneth, and when told that Gemma has moved in “temporarily”, he comments, “That’s what you think – once she gets her feet under the table, she doesn’t shift! She was like a cuckoo with me –

Jim starts the bidding for the card album with £20, with Dai offering £21, and so it goes, with both of them arguing that the set is worthless without the single card, and vice versa.

Diane takes charge and offers £30, warning Megan that she might not sell it online. As Diane hands over the money, Dai grabs the album and scuttles away.

Iolo reprimands his father for not telling him about the ‘inheritance”. Siôn changes the subject, maintains he does not want Iolo getting hurt, and asks, “Have you been completely honest with Wiliam?

Gwyneth is furious when she gets home; “You can’t buy friendship by cooking, vacuuming or buying cakes! You lied to me!”
Gemma replies that Megan would have kicked her out in the end; “I would never have moved in if I knew how impossible she was! It was the only way I could persuade you to accept my help – with Garry and Britt.

“You haven’t had any more trouble since I moved in. That proves we need each other. There’s lasagne in the oven – it will be ready by the time I come back,” and, so saying, she leaves.

Dani has got herself all ready to leave the hospital, telling Garry, “I’m going to despatch myself!” Garry corrects her; “Discharge,” and tells her the flat is in a terrible state, but will be like a palace by Monday. “You don’t want a relapse,” he advises, so she agrees to stay.

Then Sioned appears outside the door, so Garry goes to see her, warning, “Another job is not going to happen until I find who broke in – not a word to Dani, or anyone else!” Sioned gives Dani chocolates and leaves them alone.

In the Deri, Mark comes up with a plan that the only way to make some money is

Wiliam arrives back to number 7, but finds Iolo in a depressed state. He suggests cooking an Indian meal for Siôn and Britt; “I want to get to know him better,” he says.

As Dani asks Garry what he and Sioned were talking about, an unexpected and unwelcome visitor appears –
