Final planning of the job
Garry has a final briefing with Sioned;  the plan is that she drives the taxi to the location, dropping off Garry half a mile away.   Then she obtains the keys from the target, passes them to Garry, who will drive the stolen car to the lock-up, and they will meet back in the garage by 10:00pm.
PC Wiliam pays a visit
They are disturbed by a knock on the garage door;  PC Wiliam Parry alerts them to the theft of some valuable cars in the Swansea area, and asks Garry to be on the lookout, as they might be exported via West Wales.
Garry is apprehensive
“We shall have to postpone,” says Garry, but Sioned insists that they cannot pull out now,
Off stalks Sioned
and walks off, disgusted, when he tells her that he will text her later.
Ed can sense that she is lying
Ed meets her outside the Deri, and does not believe her when she says she has been to the garage but no-one was there.
Anita has a shock phone call . . .
Anita is at the cash machine when she receives a phone call.   When she sees who is calling, she drops her handbag in amazement.
. . . and Colin springs to her aid
Colin rushes to her aid and escorts her home.
Gemma with her Easter bonnet
Gemma is taking the bonnet she has made to Gwern, and Gwyneth accompanies her, even though she wants nothing to do with it.
"Don't forget the competition"
In the Deri, Britt wants to leave, so that she gets to Newcastle before dark, but Siôn reminds her of the Easter bonnet competition, which Aaron is entering.   Wiliam calls, to ask how Iolo is;
Wiliam enquires after Iolo
“I haven’t seen him for a while, and want to check he’s OK.”   When Britt asks if something has happened between them, he replies, “Didn’t you know?”
"Do you know anything about this?"
As soon as he is gone, Britt turns to Siôn;  “Do you know anything about this?” but he comments, “Why would I?”
Gemma lies, again
Gemma lies to Dani, “I wouldn’t have made it if I knew you had made one.”   Dani asks Gwyneth to choose which Gwern should wear, but she is non-committal, so Gwern is asked to choose.
"That one!" chooses Gwern . . .
“That one!” he says, pointing to Dani’s, and it is put on his head.
. . . but Gemma ensures it gets damaged
Gemma, ostensibly adjusting the bonnet, accidentally breaks off part of it, but Dani seems unflustered;  “Well, we’ve got another one,” she says.
"Wiliam is worried about you"
Britt goes to see Iolo, telling him of Wiliam’s visit, and he asks, “What did he want?”   Britt tells him that Wiliam was worried about him, and that he should phone.
"Why didn't you tell us?"
Then Siôn also arrives and asks Iolo, “Why didn’t you tell us you’d finished?”
Iolo insists that he must have known what would happen, and tells Britt,
"I did as Dad advised"
“I did what Dad advised, and told him about the hit and run.”   Britt is anxious to know exactly what he told Wiliam, so they can all get their stories straight.   “Don’t worry, I didn’t name anyone,” he lies, “But I’m going to phone him.”   Siôn is doubtful if that is a wise move, and Britt storms out of the house
Colin tries to offer his support
At Anita’s, Colin asks, “What did Meic have to say?” but Anita does not want to talk about it.   Colin suggests that he could have a word with Meic and tell him to leave her alone, but Anita says no, and not to tell anyone else.
Anita cannot face the competition . . .
Then her phone rings again;  it is Megan, about the competition, so Anita feigns migraine, and says she cannot come.
. . . and Colin leaves her
She tells Colin she wants to be on her own.
In the Deri there are only a disappointing two contestants, but Megan gets them parading round, as Dani remarks to Garry,
Dani is suspicious of Gemma (with good reason)
“Do you think she spoiled mine on purpose – it would be typical Gemma!”   Garry dismisses her suspicions as he has other things on his mind.
Sioned avoids looking at Garry
Then Sioned appears, and tries to make it look as if she is not talking to Garry, telling him, “You can’t be Dani’s minder for ever,” and walking out again.
Gemma assures Gwyneth that it was an accident, but Gwyneth responds,
"There's something major wrong with you!"
“There’s something major wrong with you!”
"Don't you ever say that again!"
Gemma retorts, “Don’t you ever say that again!”
Megan hands out the prizes
Megan declares Aaron the winner, and presents both him and Gwern with Easter eggs.
Britt wonders whether she should cancel the visit to Newcastle, as she is worried about Iolo, but Siôn is adamant that she should go, and he will look after Iolo.
Sioned, dressed to kill (or rather to steal)
Sioned is preparing for the job, and Ed asks where she is going.   “To Swansea to meet Carys, from the business course.
Illustration of Gibbs' Rule 7 (NCIS) – "Be specific when you lie"
You know, short dark hair and big boobs!” she tells him.   She receives a text from Garry that the job is on, and to meet him at the Bull, Llanarthur at 7:30pm.
"Don't contact me again!"
In another pub somewhere, Wiliam meets Iolo;  “How can you be so selfish?” demands Wiliam, “I’m compromised as it is;  just don’t contact me again!”   He leaves and Iolo is distraught.
Gemma admits some of her problems . . .
Back at home, Gemma pretends that she is sorry that she made the bonnet.   “You’re right, I wanted to stir things up.   Sometimes if arguing is going on, it draws attention away from me, and the kind of person I am.   People get angry with me, and make me feel worthless – I don’t like feeling worthless!”
. . . and then attempts to kiss Gwyneth again . . .
She leans over and starts kissing Gwyneth again, but is pushed away again, with the protest,
. . . and again is rebuffed
“Stop playing games with me – this is not a game!   Never do that again!”
"You look like a film star!"
Sioned drives Garry in a Deri Deithio taxi to a dark spot, where he tells her she looks like a film star;  “A hobbit?” enquires Sioned.
Sioned drives away to meet her target
Then he gets out, and Sioned drives off on her mission.
Dani and Ed are doing some investigation
Meanwhile Ed and Dani let themselves into the garage and find it in darkness.   They both know that their respective partners have been lying, but Dani says they must not be confronted until they are sure.
Ed suggests that Dani bring Garry over for dinner tomorrow;  Dani tells him, “I hope we’re wrong, Ed.”
Colin feels rather guilty
When Colin is told by Siôn about the end of Iolo’s and Wiliam’s relationship, he wonders if he is to blame, with all his questions over the meal table.
"Would you like to be chef here again?"
Then Anita comes in, having been contacted by Siôn;  he offers her a job as chef at the Deri, as he is trying to put the place back on the map as a restaurant.   “I didn’t expect that,” replies Anita, adding,
Anita refuses the offer
“I’m not ready to take on something like that – there’s a lot on my mind at the moment.”   After she has gone, Colin says that not everyone knows her as well as he does.
"You were supposed to be back an hour ago!"
In the garage, Garry is getting worried and leaves a message on Sioned’s phone, “Where are you?  You were supposed to be back an hour ago!   What’s going on?”
"I had to make sure he was drunk enough!"
At that moment she returns;  “I stayed with the target to make sure he was drunk enough not to look for his car.   He won’t know until the morning.”   She is eager to celebrate with a drink, so Garry finds a bottle in a cupboard.
"I feel like climbing on the roof of Bethania!"
It’s hard to act normally now,” enthuses Sioned, “I feel like climbing on the roof of Bethania!”
"To the next job!"
“That I would like to see,” laughs Garry, and they drink a toast, “To the next job!”
