Sioned, a woman with a mission
Sioned struts out of the Deri and accosts Garry, who is leaving his flat, demanding is there is another job yet.
"This takes careful planning!"
Garry tells her, “This is not like going for a haircut – it takes careful planning.   This is not a game – Dani could have been killed!”
“Sioned taunts him, “You should show them they’re not going to get the better of you!”   When he has gone to the garage, Eileen meets Sioned and invites her and Ed for supper.   This offer is rebutted;
Sioned is rude to her mother, once again
“It’s hard enough being poor, without you reminding me!” replies Sioned.
Debbie's latest promotion
In the café, Debbie has chalked a notice, watched by Gwen, offering half-price coffee to under-30s.
She fusses over the injured DJ
DJ comes in and is fussed over by Debbie;  “Sit down, and I’ll get you coffee and cake,” and when DJ says he doesn’t eat cake, and only wants milk, she continues, “Fit young boys like you can lose weight in seconds!”
"Do I look like a jury foreman"
Dai has smartened himself up with a suit and tie;  “Do I look like a jury foreman?” he asks Diane, but she mutters that he is too old.
"I could be going on holiday . . ."
She complains that she could have gone on holiday alone, but he cancelled it, and now she has to spend another day at APD, eating salad.
". . . and you'll be sitting on your backside!"
“My feet won’t touch the floor while you’re sitting on your backside in court,” she moans.   Dai thinks he might end up with a murder case.
Rhys has found the car of his dreams . . .
Rhys is at Llwyncelyn, looking on the laptop at a car he intends to buy in St Clears;
. . . and wants a lift to St Clears to collect it
when Gaynor asks if his father can give him a lift, Rhys replies, “He doesn’t know I’m home.”
"I'll give you a lift"
Gaynor tells him, “I’ll give you a lift – you need someone to make sure you don’t buy a bucket of rust!”   Rhys thanks her for letting him stay after the business with Hywel, but she assures him, “It was not your fault, and this is your home.”
"I shall have to ask Dad for some help"
He has paid for the first month’s insurance, but will have to ask his father for help with the rest.
"Why hasn't Rhys contacted me?"
In the café, Hywel wonders why Rhys has not been to see him, and why he is staying at Lwyncelyn.
"I want you to start decorating the baby's room"
Sheryl says that there is no room in the flat, and that she wants Hywel to start decorating the baby’s room.
Eifion caught enjoying a fry-up
Angela catches Eifion having a fried breakfast
"Have you any idea how bad that is for you?"
and tells him how unhealthy it is;  he replies that muesli is not a proper breakfast.   She reminds him to do the shopping and leaves.
Sioned issues her orders
Sioned strides into the garage;  “I want us to do another job as soon as possible!”   Garry reminds her it is not her decision, but she warns him,
"You've obviously lost your nerve"
“I’m sure I could find plenty of other people to work with!   You’ve obviously lost your nerve – Dani is your weak point!   You might as well pack it in and live a respectable life – it’s a pity that Dani likes the high life, with nice clothes and designer handbags.”
"I can't do anything with this hand"
Diane is busy on her own at APD, and DJ can be of no help as he has to be very careful with his injured hand.
Why does she think a builders' merchant would sell "furry dice"?
Gaynor comes in, asking if they stock furry dice, for Rhys’s new car, and remarks that Diane could do with some help.   She suggests Rhys, who will be around for a couple of weeks, and Diane jumps at the chance.
"Keith, I'm looking for a job, as soon as possible"
After some thought, Garry phones an associate, Keith, and tells him, in English, “I’m looking for a job, as soon as possible.”
"What sort of car is Rhys buying, then?"
Hywel and Sheryl are in the Deri, when DJ joins them and asks, “What sort of car is Rhys buying, then?” but Hywel looks blankly at him.   DJ adds, “That’s what Gaynor just told me.”
Rhys then turns up . . .
Then Rhys arrives, and is admonished by his father,
. . . and is told off by Hwywel
“I don’t like finding out through CnocCnoc that you’re back!   Why are you staying at Llwyncelyn?”   Rhys replies that there is off-road parking for his car there, then voices his hope that Hywel will help him with the cost of insurance.
“Of course I’ll help you,” begins Hywel, but Sheryl interrupts to say that they should discuss the matter first.
"It affects me and the baby – we're family now"
“Your financial decisions affect me and the baby – we’re family now.   We shall need every penny, as I won’t be able to work when the baby is born.”
In the face of their bickering, Rhys says, “Right, forget it!” and stalks out.   “I didn’t want him taking advantage of you,” insists Sheryl, but Hywel is adamant,
"He wanted his Dad's help, and he's going to get it!"
“He wanted his Dad’s help, and he’s going to get it!”
"How do you feel about being 50 soon?"
Debbie buys milk at the shop and asks Eileen, “How do you feel about being 50 soon?”   She cannot understand Eileen looking forward to it;
Eifion gets more instructions:  courgettes and brown sugar
Eifion is doing the shopping, and receives a text from Angela, instructing him to buy courgettes and brown sugar.
Debbie is aghast at the text which has just arrived
Then Debbie has a text, and looking at it, her face falls and she hurries from the shop, leaving behind her milk.
"It's obvious who wears the trousers there!"
When Rhys arrives back at Llwyncelyn, he furiously tells Gaynor, “Dad can’t pay the insurance!”   When she asks him why, he replies, “It’s obvious who wears the trousers there!”
"Too late, I've already paid for it"
She has just given Rhys the news of the job at APD when Hywel arrives, wanting the details of the insurance, so he can pay it.   “Too late,” announces Gaynor, “I’ve already paid for it!   Someone has to make sure Rhys is all right!”
When Hywel complains that she is coming between him and his son, she replies, “I’m not the one coming between you!”
"Was there anything else?"
and as Rhys goes to get his coat, she pointedly asks Hywel, “Was there anything else?”
Angela finds Debbie in the Deri and apologises for her behaviour yesterday;  Debbie tells her, “I’m going to be a grandmother – Vicki’s pregnant,”
There is supposed to be a baby in there, somewhere
and shows her the scan on her phone.   Debbie is afraid that this will change everything, and urges Angela not to tell anyone.
Dai is taking it easy, after his jury service
When Diane arrives home, she finds Dai having a drink;  he will not reveal anything about the case, as they were warned not to discuss it.
"It's a waste of money, giving him a job"
When she tells him that she has given Rhys a job, he is furious, calling it a waste of money.   She phones Rhys, asking if he can start at 9:00am tomorrow.
Garry is giving the car a "once over"
Rhys takes the call as Garry is checking over his acquisition.
"Don't tell Mam I'm eating chips"
Courtney admires the car, and urges Eifion, “Don’t tell Mam I’m eating chips!”
Garry gives the car a clean bill of health
Garry gives his verdict;  “It’s fine, as far as I can see.”
Rhys has a joke with Gwynfor
In the Deri, Rhys is chatting to Gwynfor, then goes to talk cars with Garry.   Eileen, Angela, Sioned and Debbie are sitting together;
Eileen recalls Sioned's first car
Eileen remembers the first car that Sioned had, “A sporty red one,” but Sioned regrets, “It will be a while before I can afford something like that!”

"Are you free Thursday night?"
As Sioned heads to the toilet, Garry follows her out of the door, and asks, “Are you free Thursday night?   We’ve got a job!”
