Garry is still keen to get his money
Garry pushes his way into number 7 and demands his money;  when Gethin explains that Auntie Marian woke up, Garry tells him to get back there and find it.
"My patience is wearing thin!"
“My patience is wearing thin – I want it by the end of the day, or you will pay!”
Sioned, back from her spending spree
Sioned has just returned from a weekend in London, complete with shopping, when Angela tells her of the break-in at Penrhewl;  Eifion adds that they did not take anything, so Marian is afraid they will come back.
Getting tangled up with the duvet cover
As Siôn and Britt are folding laundry, Megan visits, complaining that she was not told about Meic, and heard it from Gwynfor.
Megan arrives to throw her weight about again
She intimates that Siôn is too busy running a pub to deal with the damp problem at Bethania, which is getting worse.   “I’ll sort it out, but I need access to the money,” she tells Siôn, and asks Britt for a cup of tea.
Siôn's rather insipid argument does not work . . .
When Siôn’s insistence that he alone should sort out the matter does not seem to be convincing Megan, Britt weighs in and mentions the trouble with the Maenan Appeal’s money, and asks,
. . . so Britt intervenes, in order to wind Megan up
“Do you think you’re the best person to do this?    People will talk!”
"If that's how you feel!"
This succeeds in upsetting Megan, and she stalks off, saying, “If that’s how you feel . . .”
"Thank you," says Siôn
Siôn thanks Britt for her intervention, but she replies,
"And what will you do next time?"
“And what will you do the next time she wants to see the accounts?   I shall have to dig you out of another hole.   I’m as guilty as you now, and I just want to keep us out of prison!”
Diane is perplexed by so many diets
In the café, Diane tells Jim that every diet she has seen contradicts another one.
"Angela used to be . . . bigger"
Jim advises, “You ought to talk to Angela – she used to be . . . bigger.   She lost a couple of stones, at least.”
Gethin is anxious about Marian's condition
Then Gethin comes in, enquiring how Marian is, and tells then he will take a box of scones up to Penrhewl.   Jim concludes that as the burglars did not take anything, they must have been looking for something.   Ed, behind the counter, looks worried at this news.
Meanwhile, in Marian's bedroom
Meic is visiting Marian, who is recovering, and as he offers to go and get them a cup of tea, Sioned arrives, worried about Marian.
Meic acts as the waiter
Meic comments, “It’s nice to look after someone else, for a change.”
"Nefi wen!   Deri Deithio never answer the phone!"
Later, as Marian sleeps, Meic tries to phone for a taxi to take him home;  “Nefi wen!   Deri Deithio never answer the phone these days, as I’m not keeping an eye on them.   It’s more trouble than it’s worth!”   Sioned offers to give him a lift home.
"I'll sit with Marian for you"
Then Gethin arrives and offers to sit with Marian while Cadno gets on with her work.
"I'm so sorry!"
He whispers, “I’m so sorry!” to the sleeping Marian.
Sioned has brought Meic home
As Sioned delivers Meic back to the village, Ed calls her across and tells her, “The burglar obviously was looking for the money – what else could it be?”   Sioned says, “They will know by now that it’s not there.   I’m not going to the police – I’ve spent hundreds in London already!”
"I'm going to spend the rest — watch me!"
When Ed asks what she is going to do with the money, she replies, “Spend the rest — watch me!”
Nothing like £17,000 in there
As Marian is still asleep, Gethin starts searching in bedroom drawers, but all he finds is a cash box containing a few pounds.
"You're such a nice lad!"
He makes a noise and wakes her, then reassures her that he has come as he was worried about her.   “You’re such a nice lad,” she tells him.
Sioned and Meic reminisce about Denzil
Sioned is having a cup of tea with Meic, and tells him he is lucky that he can say and do what he likes;  “I wish that Dad had time to say goodbye,” she says.
Sioned thinks that Denzil would have wanted to work on the farm or go fishing with Meic on his last day, but Meic thinks she would have persuaded him to go shopping with her.
"It's refreshing to have someone being honest with me"
“It’s refreshing to have someone being honest with me,” he comments, “Everyone is feeling sorry and fussing over me!”
"Is it right you used to be fat?"
Angela calls at APD to ask Jim to have Courtney, so that she and Eifion can go to the cinema.   Diane is curious;  “Is it right you used to be fat?   Jim said you were.”
"Oh, five or six stones!"
Angela admits that she was “a bit bigger”, and when pressed by Eifion, adds, “Five or six stones,” explaining that she had just had a baby and was in an unhappy marriage.   Diane suggests that she could start a slimming club, and Eifion thinks of the £5 a head she could charge for it.
Angela may be warming to Diane's suggestion
“You would be an inspiration to woman,” is Diane’s verdict.
Megan visits Siôn again, with the £12.70 collection from the Sisterhood Meeting;
"I'll keep my concerns to myself now!"
“It will be safer in your hands,” she complains, “I was only trying to help the chapel, but I’ll keep my concerns to myself now!”
That is Gethin with his head in a cupboard
Gethin has now ventured downstairs at Penrhewl, and searches in the dresser and various cupboards.
"Oh, I was just making a cup of tea!"
When he hears Cadno come in, he grabs two mugs and pretends to be making tea.
"Who would do a thing like that?"
Cadno wonders, “Who would do a thing like that?   Scaring an old woman?”
Gethin replies, “They must have been desperate, and I bet they’re riddled with guilt, but they must have had their reasons.”   Cadno is impressed;  “You always see the best in people,” she says.
"I want to buy Deri Deithio!"
Sioned speaks of her clothes repairing and alterations, then mentions how Meic and Denzil set up the Deri Deithio taxi business.   “That meant a lot to Dad – that’s why I want to buy it!   It makes sense – Dad was involved with it, and Ed works there now.”
Meic will give the matter some thought . . .
Meic had not thought of selling Deri Deithio, but tells her,
. . . which pleases Sioned no end
“Leave it with me overnight.   We’ll see what we can do.”

As Gethin arrives back at number 7, Garry follows him in.
Gethin has unfavourable news . . .
Gethin admits that he is no closer to finding the money, and is told by Garry,
. . . which does not improve Garry's mood
“Until I get it back, you will not get a penny in wages!   You’re lucky to be alive after what you’ve done!   Don’t be late tomorrow!”
