3 February 2015 (2nd)

Garry has another job for Gethin . . .
When Gethin arrives late at the garage, Garry has a little job for him;  he is to take two bags and give them to a friend on the back road, just after the Penrhewl turn at 9:00am.   Then he is to bring back what he is given to the garage, not to the flat.
. . . which is worth £500 off his debt
If he does not do this, Garry will not knock £500 off his debt.
"Don't undo too many of those buttons!"
Sioned looks very smart for her meeting about the proposed teepees at Penrhewl, and will be meeting her contact in the layby there.   When she has some definite figures, she will be able to convince her mother.
Ffion is blaming Jinx for the missing file
Ffion is frantically searching for her file;  “I’m sure I put it down here!” she tells Jinx, and accuses him of moving it.   “Look, you can’t even put Arwen’s coat on properly!” she moans;  when she has left for school,
"Mam's in a good mood today, isn't she?"
Jinx remarks to Arwen, “Mam’s in a good mood today, isn’t she?”
Ffion is not having a good day . . .
Ffion meets Gethin in the street, telling him about the file she needs for a meeting at 4:00pm, but he has other things on his mind.
. . . and it becomes even worse when she sees that Kelly!
Then she passes Kelly and snarls, “Jinx is not around, so we don’t have to pretend to be civil!”
Cadno has grabbed a few hours' sleep
DJ, who has been in the lambing shed since 3:00am, finds Cadno asleep on the sofa;
Sioned arrives to make sure the coast is clear
as she wakes, Sioned arrives, ostensibly to asks if Cadno wants anything from town, as she says she is on the way to a job interview at a clothes shop.   In reality, she is checking they will be occupied so as not to see her meeting about the teepees.
Gethin waits in a rural location . . .
Gethin has parked in a rural lay-by;
. . . and carries out the exchange as arranged
another car arrives and the two large bags are exchanged for a smaller one.
"You going to the Young Farmers' Ball?"
At Penrhewl, Iolo has been called to fix a sink, and asks if DJ is going to the Young Farmers’ Ball tomorrow, as that is what DJ has been looking at on the laptop.
PC Wiliam Parry arrives at Penrhewl . . .
DJ says he is much too busy, but then Cadno comes back in with PC Parry, who is warning local farmers about metal thefts.
. . . which Iolo seems to find interesting
Iolo recognises the PC as Wiliam whom he met last year, and who has just finished his police training;  while DJ and Cadno investigate whether anything is missing, Iolo and Wiliam chat.
Gethin sees a heavy police presence . . .
Gethin, on his way back to the garage, is alarmed when he sees two more policemen pulling cars over ahead,
. . . and secretes the bag in a ditch
and hides the bag in a ditch, by the Cwmderi footpath sign.
In the café, Mal and Ows are deep in discussion
Jinx joins Kelly in the café;
"What's the matter, work or Ffion?"
seeing his long face, she asks, “Work – or Ffion?”   He reveals that they had a row this morning over a missing file;
"Ffion's under a lot of pressure"
“She’s under pressure with work and Arwen, and maybe I don’t do enough to help,” he says, but Kelly insists that he does more than enough.   “You need to stick up for yourself,” she urges him.
"Are you still here?"
When Cadno returns to the farmhouse, she jokes, “Are you still here?   No wonder the police take so long to catch thieves!”
"We'll meet for a drink some time?"
As Wiliam leaves, he hopes that he and Iolo can meet for a drink.
"He's gorgeous!"
Cadno comments, “He’s gorgeous!   If a hunk like that offered to take me out, I wouldn’t refuse!”   Iolo in turn suggests that she should go to the Young Farmers’ Ball with DJ.
Sioned's meeting did not have the desired outcome . . .
Sioned meets her contact in a lay-by, but is disappointed.   “So there’s nothing you can do?   Thanks for wasting my time!”
. . . but she saw something she had to investigate
As she stalks back to her car, something in the ditch catches her eye;  she investigates and picks up a bag.
"It's perfectly safe, and I'll go back later for it"
Gethin reports back to Garry that the police were around so that he has to hide the bag, but will go and get it back later;  Garry is not happy, but Gethin insists the bag is safe.
A not very flattering view of Ffion, crawling under the desk
At lunchtime, Ffion is back home, searching for the file;  as she knocks something off the desk, and crawls underneath to retrieve it, she notices the file, partially hidden behind the curtains.
A very penitent Ffion apologises to Jinx
She utters a sigh of relief, and hurries to CwmFM, where she apologises profusely to Jinx for her behaviour, and promises to collect an Indian takeaway on her way home tonight.
Reconciliation – not what Kelly was wanting to see
“That’s great, you can shout at me every morning,” replies Jinx, and kisses her, which is a disappointment to Kelly, who is approaching.   Jinx tells her, “Ffion is the first to scream and shout, but also the first to admit she’s wrong!   It’s healthy to argue sometimes — just to make up!”
DJ encourages Iolo to get involved with Wiliam
When Iolo has finished mending the sink, DJ is eating again, having delivered 17 lambs;  he advises Iolo that Wiliam looks like “the way forward.”   Cadno says she has gone off Young Farmers for ever, but it might be a laugh to go with DJ tomorrow night.
Gethin is about to get a nasty shock . . .
Gethin arrives back at the footpath sign, but of course he finds the bag has gone,
. . . and he is at a loss to know what to do
and he looks helplessly across the fields, wondering what to do.
Sioned is overwhelmed by her find . . .
Meanwhile, Sioned empties the contents of the bag on the table;  Ed wonders whatever she has done, but she tells him she found it up at Penrhewl.
. . . and against Ed's advice . . .
Ed urges her to take it to the police;  “Only one type of person keeps a bag of money in such a strange place – it’s too dangerous!”
. . . is determined to keep it
Sioned, however, assures him that no-one knows she has it;  “Why can’t you be happy?   This is the way to get us out of this hole at last!”
"Hee, hee," she gleefully chortles
While Ed protests that he wants nothing to do with it, Sioned counts the money, gloating cheerfully.
Gethin waits for the knock at the door
Gethin is sitting on the stairs, waiting for the inevitable;  when Garry comes, he is told that the bag was hidden near Penrhewl, but has now gone.
"There was £17,000 in that bag!"
“Gone?   There was £17,000 in that bag!   All you had to do was bring it back.   You’ve got it here, haven’t you?”
"Do you think I'd be here if I had it?"
Gethin replies, “Do you think I’d be here if I had it?   I’d leave this place and never come back!”
"You lost it!   You're going to get it back!"
Garry is furious;  “You’re going to get it back!   I was willing to give you one last chance, but you can’t do anything right!   Find that money, or you’ll regret it!”
