DJ is moving to the farm, where he works, but Dai grumbles that he does not know what work is. Diane gives DJ a casserole to take with him.

Eifion is just cleaning up after the building job, and Dai describes himself as the “Project Manager”.

| "How long does it take Andrew to answer a text?" |
Sioned is working from home, to avoid Gemma at the Antur; she moans to Ed that Andrew has not answered her text.

| Mark enquires about Gemma's plans |
Mark comes visiting, asking whether Gemma is staying around; Sioned regrets that she is, and she is working at the Antur, as Gwyneth felt sorry for her.

| "Anyone with sense would stay away from her!" |
“I forgave her, but I’m staying away from her now,” says Mark, and Sioned considers that is what anyone with sense would do.

| Siôn reassures Gemma |
Meanwhile, downstairs in the bar, Gemma comes in and is hesitant about whether to stay; Siôn reasures her that things will get better with time, but she tells him, “I’ve been so stupid – you don’t know what I’ve done.”

| Mark, unsurprisingly, wants nothing to do with her |
When Mark comes downstairs, he ignores her, and she leaves.

Eifion is dusting the furniture and finds some old pictures of Dai in a drawer, then cannot close it;

it is being wedged by a letter on pink paper, and Eifion is amused to read it, putting it in his pocket.

Later, when he reads some of it to Dai, “I enjoy your company when we sit in the café or the Deri. You’re one in a million, Anita!” Eifion remarks, “I didn’t think you were such a Romeo! I don’t think Meic would see the funny side!”

| Dai gives him £20 to keep his mouth shut . . . |
Eifion continues that he is sure they can come to an understanding, and Dai gives him £20 to keep quiet.

| . . . then makes a phone call . . . |
Then Dai makes a phone call, and soon DJ arrives and is shown the letter; “Where did you find this?” DJ demands.

Dai tells him that it is lucky Eifion thinks he is the writer; “I’m not doing this for you, but for Meic!” Dai tells him.

| Meic is speechless when he sees the bed |
Meic walks into his house, and is dumbfounded to discover a bed in the front room; Anita says it is in case he wants to come home. “I know you don’t need it now, but if you did want to come home, everything’s ready.”

Meic’s continued silence makes her apologise, “I’m sorry – it was a silly idea!” and they quickly leave the house.

Meic and Anita arrive at the Deri, and are greeted warmly; when Meic goes to the bar, Siôn feels uncomfortable about the way he bought the pub. Meic tells him, “I dont look back too much – sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. You’re at the heart of the community – that’s what I miss.”

| Debbie sees she is not welcome and leaves |
Debbie comes in for a break from the café, but when she see Meic, she decides to return later, and Meic says nothing to her as she leaves. Then he has second thoughts and follows her out.

At that moment Dai enters, and is worried that Meic will encounter Eifion, so he instructs Diane to follow Meic, and to phone if he gets anywhere near Eifion. Diane, though baffled, does as he says.

Anita confesses to Dai that she has upset Meic already, about the bed; “I’ve been so insensitive, reminding him that his time is so short!” In the background, Gemma goes upstairs.

| Sioned is aware of someone behind her . . . |
Sioned, busy with her sewing machine, is suddenly aware that Gemma is in the doorway, saying she understands how Sioned feels about her.

| "I don't want you here and neither does Britt!" |
Sioned is blunt; “I have to put up with you at the Antur, but I don’t want you here, OK? I don’t want you in the Deri, or your apologies! Britt owns the place and she doesn’t want you here!”
Gemma maintains that Siôn is fine with her, and so is Ed, but Sioned is adamant; “Ed wants what I want – out! Just get out of here!”

She immediately phones Andrew, leaving the message, “Phone me back please – quick!”

| Debbie was not expecting this visitor |
Debbie, in the café flat, is astonished when Meic arrives, and she admits that she has been so stupid. Meic says that he has been thinking about himself all the time, rather than realising that others are suffering.

| "I should have been more considerate" |
“I should have been more considerate. Thanks for bringing Gabriella back to me, I appreciate it. You’re running the café well and working very hard; that’s why I’m leaving my share of the café to you. There was never any doubt that you should have it.”
“After all that I’ve done?” says Debbie, incredulously, and she adds, “I miss you,” but Meic leaves.

| Flowers are not going to change Sioned's mind |
Ed brings Sioned some flowers, and she tells him that Gemma has been there; “She scares me!” Ed makes excuses that she did not know what she was doing, and things got the better of her.

“What if things get the better of her again?” Sioned demands.

A text arrives from Andrew – “Sorry, I’ll phone Gemma and sort it out.” This reassures Sioned, and Ed says, “I told you it would be all right.”

Mark goes to see Debbie, finding her in an emotional state; she tells him that Meic has left her his share of the café, which Mark thinks is what she wanted all along. “All I want now is Meic,” she wails, “But it’s too late!”

Ed finds Gemma in the bar and tells her he has heard from Andrew; “He obviously still cares about you. It would be a good idea if you didn’t come here too often – you know what Sioned’s like. I’ll take you to the B&B later.”

After he leaves, a text arrives; Gemma looks at it – “Thanks Andrew! A relief!” then types a reply, “You’re welcome. Andrew.”

Eifion comes into the Deri and winds up Dai, telling Siôn, “It’s interesting how a man can hide his character. Take Dai for instance, a successful businessman, pillar of the community. What goes on behind that façade?”

Meic comes back in and Eifion greets him, “Nice to see you back, Meic!”
Then he turns to Dai and says, “Did you really think I’d tell him? Thanks for the sub.”

Dai describes him as, “A sly piece of work.”

| Diane still has no idea what is going on |
Then Diane returns and reports on Meic’s movements, being left no wiser about why she has been following him.

Meic and Anita go back to the house, where she says that the last thing she wants to do is upset him.

He replies, “I’ve realised that this is where I want to be, and I’m going to be back as soon as I can. This is where I belong. Just one condition – I’m not getting into that bed until I have to – I want you to keep me warm!
