"We could renew our wedding vows in Las Vegas!"
Hywel tells Gaynor that Lois would come home more often if she was given surprises like that Easter trip. Gaynor suggests they could renew their wedding vows at Las Vegas, then add she could give him a lift to Swansea on Friday for his journey to North Wales.

As soon as Gaynor has left for school, Hywel phones Sheryl; she asks if he will be home today, as she needs to talk to him.
An oxygen cylinder is taken into Meic's house . . .
In the background, an oxygen cylinder is being wheeled into number 10.
. . . and Meic is far from pleased to see it
Meic is not happy about it; “Does that have to be here? It’s bad enough having the bed! What’s going to arrive next — the coffin?”
Anita hides the cylinder under a blanket, then a postcard from Gabriela in Llaneuchllyn arrives;
"Why don't we go to the Botanic Gardens?"
Anita suggests visiting the Botanic Gardens at the weekend.
Sioned makes sure Ed has the story right . . .
Sioned is telling Ed the fable she has concocted to explain the £17,000; “One day Ed happened to be passing a house when he saw smoke, and rescued Muriel from the fire, so in her will she left him the money.”
. . . and produces a photo of the late, lamented Auntie Muriel
She even has found a picture of some old lady with a cat, apparently named Patch, as a visual aid. “Go for a run and stop worrying,” she instructs him.
Gwyneth moans about Dani
Gwyneth finds Gemma in the café, writing in her notebook, and tells her about Dani making her birthday present for Gwern look pathetic.
"Can I still use the café as the taxi headquarters?"
Sioned comes in and asks Debbie if she can still use the café as the base for Deri Deithio; Gemma asks Gwyneth what Sioned has to do with the taxi business, and when told, she confronts Sioned.
"How could you afford that?"
“How could you afford that? A couple of weeks ago, you couldn’t afford the B&B for me!” Angela, standing nearby, tells her that it was sad news about Ed’s aunt, and Gemma’s ranting about this leads Debbie to eject her from the café, “Until you calm down!”
Gwyneth is left with Gemma's notebook
leaving her notebook behind.
Another of Garry's dodgy deals?
Garry has just finalised a deal with a stranger in the Deri, and remarks to Meic, “I understand you’ve done a deal yourself.”

Meic replies that Sioned caught him at a weak moment, and in answer to Garry’s query, reveals he sold the business for £10,000.

Ed is almost word-perfect when he recites Sioned's story
where Ed recites what he has been told by Sioned, about rescuing the old lady from a fire. He says he did not tell Gemma, as it would have upset her. He downplays his involvement, and when Gemma describes him as a “good person”,
He agrees to help her with the remaining money
he tells her that he will help her with the money left over.
Sheryl comes to visit Hywel – “The highlight of my day!” he tells her, but she has something important to say, so they sit down on the sofa.
"There's no easy way to say this"
“There’s no easy way to say this,” she begins,
"Oh, you're ending it (again)"
and he assumes that she is ending things, again,
"I'm pregnant!"
but she continues, “I’m pregnant!”
"You're pulling my leg!"
When Hywel laughs, she insists that it is true. “You told me you were on the pill!” he protests, but she describes the occurrence as “an accident”.
"Are you sure I'm the father?"
His next comment is, “Are you sure I’m the father?” which Sheryl does not appreciate;
"You really know how to make a woman feel special!"
“You really know how to make a woman feel special! I have not slept with anyone else for more than a year. I’m more than happy to have a DNA test when the time comes.
“I don’t expect anything from you – I know how happy you are with Gaynor. If you don’t want anything to do with this baby, you don’t have to, but Gaynor will have to know. The other option is that you want to be part of the baby’s life – I think we could be a happy family!”
"Everything has to be open and honest!"
Hywel is incredulous; “Leave Gaynor?” Sheryl replies that she really does not see Gaynor as part of this family. “The only option you don’t have is to keep it a secret – everything has to be open and honest.”
She tells Hywel to phone her when he is ready, and leaves him.
Hywel tells Garry the latest . . .
Garry sees Hywel in the Deri later, and asks him, “Why would a man married to a smart woman want to complicate things and risk everything?” Hywel is forced to admit, “Because he never learns his lesson! Sheryl is pregnant and intends to keep the baby.”
. . . and Garry chortles with delight
He tells a rather amused Garry he has no idea what he is going to do.
"You didn't read it, did you?"
Gwyneth finds Gemma and hands over her notebook; Gemma is worried that she may have read it, then stuffs it into her bag and goes.
Sioned tells a customer to get a taxi somewhere else
Meic hears Sioned becoming exasperated with a taxi customer and volunteers to do a shift to show her how it is done. As he does not seem glad to see Anita who is checking up on him, Anita tells Debbie that she is getting on Meic’s nerves.
Courtney asks Gemma about her jewellery . . .
Gemma is back in the café when Courtney asks her about jewellery for her friend Nia’s birthday, but when Gemma suggests meeting her on Saturday,

which Gwyneth witnesses.
Hywel piles on the old romantic charm again . . .

. . . but Gaynor is not so easily convinced
He kisses Gaynor, but she retains her suspicious look.
