29 October 2015 (2nd episode)

They have no thought for Mark
Mark returns home after his shift where Dol and Vicky are experimenting with nail varnish and virtually ignoring him;  he goes to the fridge and finds it empty.
"Great, there's no food here!"
“Great, there’s no food here – what am I supposed to eat – there’s not even milk for a cuppa!” he shouts.
"You don't even live here!"
Dol apologises for eating all the bread, and he answers, “What are you doing, eating all my bread?   You don’t even live here!   I’ve been at work since five!”
“Get the violins out,” comments Dol, “Is he always like this?” to which Mark replies that he is when people get on his nerves.   “You’ll give yourself a hernia,” she continues, “We’ll go to the shop and get some food.”
Peace, temporarily
He settles on the sofa after they have gone.
Time to go to court
At Penrhewl, Dai and Diane have arrived to take DJ to the court;  Cadno tells them she cannot come as she has no babysitter.
"Smile, for heaven's sake!"
“Smile, for heaven’s sake - they haven’t locked you up yet!” Dai exhorts DJ, “It will only be Community Service or a fine!”
"Put in on Mark's tab"
In the shop, Colin rings up £20.90 on the till, but Dol tells him to put it on Mark’s tab;
"We don't do that here"
Colin informs her that they do not do things like that, but Dol persuades him that it is Mark’s shopping and he will settle up later.
"Are these two OK?"
She also asks for two bottles of white wine and grabs a magazine on the way out.
Debbie meets them in the doorway and asks her mother, “How can you afford all that, and wine?
"My giro came through this morning"
Dol replies that her giro came through this morning.
Angela is off her food
At the Deri, Ed sees Angela toying with her food and joins her;  “How’s the chaffeuring going?” she asks.
"We're really busy this week"
Ed is pleased that they are really busy this week.   “I hear you’re going to Greece – you’re lucky;  Eifion and I have never been on holiday together.”   He replies that they will have a honeymoon when they get married, but she looks downcast, so he takes her to somewhere more private.
Mark is not pleased with cold beans on toast
Vicky proudly presents Mark with beans on toast;  he is not impressed, as she gave the beans only ten seconds in the microwave.   “Ryan used to do all the cooking and cleaning and everything in London,” is her excuse.   Dol is looking at advertisements on television, and wants to buy something which is 50% off.
"Get out – go and look for a job!"
Mark has had enough, and turns off the television, bellowing, “Just get out – go and look for a job!”   When she protests that no-one will employ a sixty-year-old with no qualifications, he tells her,
"Go somewhere else to lounge around!"
“Well, go somewhere else to lounge around!   I’ve taken in Vicky and Nicky – you’re not part of the deal!”   She insists that she is family, but he is adamant;  “Off you go - I’m not telling you again!”
She complains, “It’s true what they say about redheads having a terrible temper!   Throwing an old grandma out on the streets!   You ought to be ashamed of yourself!”   Mark is unrepentant.
"Do I set my expectations too high?"
Ed and Angela sit on the stairs of the Deri, where she confesses that things have not been right for a while.   “I thought being engaged would bring us closer together, but it has made things worse!   You know me better than anyone – do I set my expectations too high?”
Ed asks if she loves Eifion, and she says that she thinks so, but is afraid that when the spark fades, it may never come back.
More barbed comments from Sioned
Then Sioned comes in the back door and finds Ed with his hand on Angela’s shoulder.   “Ed finished with you for a reason – remember?” comments Sioned, cruelly.
"Why did you want a gun?"
Outside court number 2, Dai wonders why DJ wanted a gun in the first place, let alone an illegal one.
Then Gemma arrives to support DJ
Gemma arrives and Dai remarks, “What does she want?   Don’t say you’ve been playing around with her!”
"Don't tell them I'm taking the flak for Cadno"
DJ goes over to her and asks her not to tell them that he is taking the flak for Cadno.   “But if you tell the truth,”
"Think of yourself for once"
Gemma begins, “They’ll never send the mother of two small children to prison!   Think of yourself for once –do you think you can face prison?   If you can’t, you know what you have to do.”
"Can I have another chance?"
Dolores arrives at the café, carrying the two bottles of wine, and begs Debbie to give her another chance, working there.   “I’ll do anything – washing dishes, cooking, cleaning.   All I’m asking is a little money in return!”
"Tell me, or I'll kick you out!"
Dol’s mobile rings again, and Debbie issues an ultimatum;  “Tell me about these calls, or I’ll kick you out!”   Dol replies that she finished with a bloke a month ago, and he will not leave her alone, as he is obsessed, and that is why she came to Cwmderi.
"I hope things will cool down"
She hopes that things will cool down with Albie, who turned into a right pain, and that he will get the message.
"You here to settle your shop bill?"
Mark walks into the Deri, where Colin asks if he has come to settle the shop bill, telling him that Dol said Mark would pay before the end of the day.   “Cheeky cow!” snarls Mark and goes, with Colin shouting after him that he owes more than £30.
Sioned puts on an exhibition for Angela's benefit
Sioned ensures that she and Ed are in view of Angela as they kiss at the other end of the bar;
"She enjoys rubbing my nose in it!"
“She enjoys rubbing my nose in it – her perfect relationship with Ed,” Angela tells Eileen.
"She's nothing but trouble!"
Mark furiously rages to Debbie in the café, “If she thinks she can make a fool of me, she has another think coming!   She’s nothing but trouble – when you see her, tell her she owes me two bottles of wine!”
Just when Dol thinks it is safe to come out
Dol, hiding in the kitchen, thinks it is safe to come out when Mark leaves, but changes her mind as a stranger enters the café.
"Never heard of Dolores Collins!"
In English, he asks Debbie, “I’m looking for Dolores Collins, can you help?” but Debbie denies all knowledge of such a person.   “It’s very important that I find her,” he adds, and then his phone rings;  “Hello, this is Albie!” he says,
Ooh-er!   Her past is catching up with her
and Dol looks very worried, behind the kitchen door.
"Staring at Ed, were you?"
“Stop staring – you’re giving me the creeps,” Sioned tells Angela, “Staring at Ed were you?   Jealous?”   Angela gets up and approaches her sister.
"Underneath that thick layer of makeup . . ."
“You really think you’re something, don’t you?   I’m sorry to say you’re not.   Under that thick layer of makeup – you’re only a big mouth!”
As Eileen tries to defuse the situation, Angela continues to have her say;  “You twist everyone round your little finger – Ed, Eileen, Eifion – but it won’t work with me.   I know Eifion paid for your holiday – I don’t think he’d be happy about that!”
"I shall do what I like!"
“It’s my money and I shall do what I like!” insists Sioned, “Go home Angela – no-one wants to see your sour face!”   Angela storms out, followed by Eifion, who had only just entered.
DJ is getting impatient
As he paces up and down, Richard Ashurst’s name is called by the usher, and they proceed into the courtroom,
"You don't have to do this
but not before Gemma says, “You don’t have to do this.”
"One, two, three, four"
Meanwhile at Penrhewl the boys are playing happily, as Bobi counts, “One, two, three, four,” and Cadno looks anxiously at her phone.
"How do you intend to plead?"
DJ is asked how he intends to plead to the charge of illegally obtaining a firearm.
"Guilty!"
After a long pause, DJ says, “Guilty!”
Gemma's disappointment
and Gemma’s face falls.
"How did he manage to find me?"
Dol is panicking, wondering how Albie managed to find her;  “He’s always been determined, a horrible man.   I suppose I was lonely  and wanted a bit of affection, but he was nasty and violent.”
Debbie promises that if he comes back, she will call the cops, but Dol does not want this;  “It will only make matters worse – I’ve made a real mess of things!”
"You can hide here as long as you want"
Debbie assures her that she can hide there as long as she wants.
Angela does not get any commitment from Eifion
Back home, Angela lectures Eifion, “We’re supposed to be a team,” she says, but he simply goes and sits on the sofa.   “Right, forget it!   Forget the wedding too – it’s off!   I’ve given you chance after chance, and I’ve had enough!” she emphasises, and takes off her ring.
"I can change – just tell me what you want me to do"
Eifion once again tells her he will change;  she can get married wherever she likes and she was right, they have plenty of money.   However she announces, “It’s too late!   There’s nothing else to say!” and marches upstairs.
DJ is sentenced to three months . . .
The magistrate gives the sentence;  “In light of the seriousness of the crime, we have no choice but to sentence you to three months in prison.   Take him to the cells.”   He appears stunned, and Gemma is upset.
. . . and Diane tells Cadno
Diane immediately relays the information to Cadno, assuring her that DJ is, “One tough cookie.”
"Who wants a piece of chocolate cake?"
Cadno breathes a sigh of relief, and asks the boys, “Who wants a piece of chocolate cake?”
"Me!"
Bobi looks up excitedly and answers, “Me!”
"I'm off the hook at last!"
Cadno smiles broadly.
DJ is led away to prison
DJ is marched down a corridor, flanked by two police officers.
