Gethin gets a bowl and she vomits violently into it,

| "Did you hear the interview?" |
As Hywel is looking at flowers outside the shop, Gwyneth advises him which bunch to pick, and asks if he heard the interview with Tarw Du; he was too busy with the baby. Then she adds, “How would you feel if I had a co-presenter – Colin? I know you turned him down, but he has the experience that I need.”

She is surprised how readily Hywel agrees to her request.

| Angela tries to ignore Eifion |
Angela is not speaking to Eifion; he suggests that they go for a meal, with Courtney, Eileen and Jim. “Don’t you want to check with your business partner?” Angela demands.

| "I can't wait to tell Eileen!" |
Courtney comes downstairs, excited about the forthcoming wedding, and asks if she can be bridesmaid; “I can’t wait to tell Eileen!” she enthuses, and then she and her mother leave.

| Angela then ignores Sioned |
They encounter Sioned on the doorstep; Angela ignores her, but she tells Courtney she has come to see Eifion.

| "I hope this wont affect our agreement" |
Inside she apologises for opening her mouth last night, and hoping that this will not affect the business relationship. Eifion admits he is angry, but is not pulling out, commenting, “She’s hardly spoken to me since, but I’m sure she’ll come round.”

Gaynor and Idwal are having a drink in the Deri again, and Gaynor reveals that she wants to go to Llwyncelyn later to congratulate Hywel and Sheryl on their new baby. Idwal finds this strange;

“Hywel, your ex-husband?” She urges him to come with her, as she would appreciate some company, and he reluctantly consents.

| Ffion's trembling hands cannot hold the glass |
Gethin pours a glass of water for Ffion, but she is unable to hold it with her trembling hands and begins to panic.

| Sheryl prepares Meilyr's bottle |
As Sheryl is preparing a bottle for Meilyr and refusing Hywel’s offers to help,

they have unannounced visitors; Gaynor and Idwal. After showing them into the lounge,

Hywel reports to Sheryl in the kitchen, “It’s Gaynor and some bloke!”
Sheryl hopes that she is not going to cause trouble, as she is not in the mood. Idwal introduces himself as a friend of Gaynor’s,

but Gaynor adds, “Well, we’re more than friends now!” She describes Meilyr as beautiful.

“It’s difficult to imagine life without him now,” says Sheryl;

Hywel who goes to fetch a bottle of wine, looks confused.

| Angela has a chat with her mother |
Angela has gone to the shop to have a heart-to-heart with Eileen, who asks her, “Eifion didn’t mention anything about this investment? That’s not a good basis for a relationship, let alone a marriage.”
Angela complains that her sister let the cat out of the bag immediately after she had got engaged – “Typical Sioned!”

Then, right on cue, Sioned comes in and says she is sorry for spoiling the night, justifying herself with the excuse she had argued with Ed.

| "This wedding is going to be epic!" |
Courtney again is insisting, “This wedding is going to be epic! We can wear the same dresses and have the same hairstyles,” she tells Sioned, who then leaves. Angela says they have not discussed the arrangements yet, and Eileen suggests they go to the Deri tonight.

| Ffion sleeps . . . |
Ffion is asleep, with her head on Gethin’s lap; when she wakes,

| . . . then is offered some water . . . |
he gets her a glass of water, and tries to make her take a few sips. “If this is going to work, you must let me help you,” he says, but Ffion insists she does not want his help,

| . . . but lashes out and is about to knock it flying |
and knocks the glass from his hand. She tells him she has changed her mind, but he is unmoved; “It’s too late now!” he exclaims.

| Deri Deithio appears to have moved |
Angela goes to see Sioned, who appears to have a new office for the car-hire business in the Antur building. “I want this to succeed, seeing that our loan is financing it,” says Angela, but Sioned replies that it is Eifion’s loan.

“We’re getting married, remember?” continues Angela, “So I have a right to keep an eye on this place. You went behind my back, asking Eifion for a loan, and you’d better make sure you don’t go to the wall, OK? There’s more than money at stake! By the way, Eileen wants you to go to the Deri tonight,

| Sioned is told she is not welcome |
“but to be honest, I don’t want you there!”At Llwyncelyn, the rather stilted small talk continues, with Idwal saying that they have a nice house;

| "It's my house, but I'm letting them stay" |
Gaynor interrupts, “Well, it’s my house, but I’m letting them stay here.” Hywel enquires how they met, and Gaynor tells him,

“Oh, we met online, but we’ve been talking for a long time now,” which Idwal finds rather a surprise.

| "We could have a sort of double date!" |
As they prepare to leave, Gaynor suggests, “Perhaps we can go out for a drink some time – a sort of double date!”

| "What was that all about?" |
When the door closes, Sheryl exclaims, “That was bizarre!” and Hywel is concerned that they may have been having an affair while he was with Gaynor. “Does it matter now?” is Sheryl’s response.

Hywel insists that he hold the baby; “He’s not going to get used to me if you don’t give him to me.”

She does so, but looks far from happy about it.

At CwmFM, Gwyneth announces, “I have a new co-presenter, Colin Evans,”

and he assures the listeners that they are going to have some fun.

Eifion walks in and asks them if they will play a song for him.

| "Is Sioned OK with the wedding?" |
Courtney asks her mother if Sioned is OK with the wedding, as she seems to be acting weirdly. Angela explains that she has gone into business with Sioned, but did not tell her.

Courtney suggests, “We could use the Bentley for the wedding. It is his money – you should be glad he’s helping Sioned!”
Then they hear on the radio, “Eifion Rowlands has made a special request – Angela, this one’s for you!” The song begins with the words,

Something I can’t escape from.

Courtney laughs, “Oh, that’s so romantic,” and hands Angela her phone;

Ffion asks for some water, and this time takes a few sips without incident,

then asks Gethin to bring her fleece from the bedroom, as she is shivering. As soon as he is out of the room, she rushes to the desk

and searches drawers, until she finds a bunch of keys.

When he returns, her shaking fingers drop the keys to the floor.

He picks them up and reminds her, “You won’t be able to open the front door anyway, so what’s the point?”

Gaynor and Idwal have retired to Cwm Delhi, where he asks, “Why did you lie about where we met?”

| "The visit went well" |
Gaynor replies that the less Hywel and Sheryl know about their past, the better, and judges that the visit went well. Idwal calls it, “Surreal,” then he adds, “I’m glad you said we’re more than friends, as next week, in half-term, I’m taking you on holiday, if you don’t mind,”

After initial hesitation, Gaynor replies, “Lovely!”

When Angela and Courtney enter the Deri, Jim tells them they look more like sisters every day. Angela informs them, “Eifion’s on his way, but I didn’t invite Sioned – she would only find a way of spoiling the night!”

When Jim asks what everyone want to drink,

| "Champagne?" |
Courtney suggests, “Champagne?”

| "That's the last time I buy a round for you lot!" |
Jim seems rather discouraged by the cost, and asks the stranger who is serving behind the bar for the cheapest bottle of champagne they have.

| "The smell of food is turning my stomach" |
“The smell of food is turning my stomach,” moans Ffion, but Gethin tells her it is only plain rice. “OK, I’ll eat it – only just give me one drink first, Geth!”

He flatly refuses, so she starts undoing the buttons on her top.
Desperately, she promises, “I’ll give you anything! You want it – I know you do!” Gethin tries to stop her,

but she kisses him passionately, then pushes him away,

| "I hate you!" |
shouting, “I hate you!”
He replies consolingly, “No, you hate yourself,” ![]() |
| He tenderly refastens her buttons |
and begins doing up her buttons again, as her trembling fingers are unable to do so.

| She retreats once more to the sofa |
Again she pulls away from him, throws herself on the sofa and curls up.
