Dai is looking at a picture of Meic when Anita comes downstairs, and is told that Eileen has sent flowers. When Anita announces that she is going to Patagonia tomorrow to bring Meic home,

Dai and Diane are shocked, but as she is so insistent, Diane offers to accompany her. Dai tries to raise an objection, but she tells him,

| "Shut up, Dai!" |
“Shut up, Dai! She is my best friend, and this is the least I can do for her.”

| "Why don't you go shopping?" |
Gethin is in no hurry to go to work, as Garry is not in a fit state to worry about the garage; he suggests that Ffion should go shopping in town. “You said you wanted some new clothes to go with your new hair – you deserve it!”

| Ffion is apprehensive |
Ffion is doubtful, and anxious that she might not be able to stop herself, but he expresses great confidence in her.
He tells her to be careful;

| "Not to buy any vodka?" |
“Not to buy any vodka?” Ffion enquires, but he tells her he meant on the car journey.

She will bring something home for dinner.

| "You haven't spoken to Anita, then?" |
Mark finds Gabriella looking at the urn, and concludes, “You haven’t spoken to Anita, then?” When he offers to go and tell her, Gabriella replies that she does not want him to get the blame.

After she has gone, Debbie says, “I don’t like to think that is Meic.”

| Siôn wants some help on Saturday |
Siôn goes to number 7 to ask Iolo and Wiliam to have a shift behind the bar on Saturday night, as he wants to take Britt out for a meal. Iolo cannot resist the opportunity; “Maybe she could have an Aromatherapy session – because Colin does Aromatherapy! Hasn’t Britt told you?”

Siôn looks somewhat puzzled, as Iolo continues, “I’ve got bad news, Dad, Colin and Britt are having an affair!”

Siôn bursts out laughing, until Colin tells him that it is not true. “It is – I’ve seen them together!” insists Iolo,

while Colin describes it as a blatant lie. Siôn turns and leaves.

Iolo tells Colin, “He had a right to know.”

| Gethin cannot contact Ffion |
Gethin tries to phone Ffion, but upon hearing muffled ringing, discovers her mobile down the side of the sofa.

Meanwhile, Ffion is at the Deri, where she picks up a wine bottle and looks at it,

Then Ffion smiles as she tells Britt not to worry, puts down the bottle and asks for an orange juice.

| Debbie quizzes Siôn on life after death |
When Siôn returns to the Deri, Debbie asks him if there is evidence for people living after they are dead; Siôn points out, “Jesus’ resurrection is proof of life after death,”

| Metaphors are a bit beyond her |
and when Debbie queries what people look like after death, he replies, “It’s a metaphor – the body doesn’t go on living – the spirit’s rôle is to live on.”

| "Has Iolo been stirring?" |
Seeing that Siôn looks concerned, Britt asks if Iolo has been stirring, but Siôn replies,

| "It's all my fault!" |
“You shouldn’t blame Iolo – it’s my fault! I deserve this – Arianrhod, the chapel’s money, this loan from Garry; I’m surprised it hasn’t happened sooner!” Asking Ows to look after the bar, Britt leads Siôn outside to sort out the matter.

Gabriella has plucked up the courage to go and see Anita, who tells her that she and Diane are going to Patagonia to fetch Meic.

Gabriella interrupts, “Meic’s body is not there – he wanted to be cremated.”

| "He wanted to be buried in Anglesey!" |
“No, he wanted to be buried in Anglesey!” insists Anita, but Gabriella tells her that he changed his mind near the end. “And you’ve done it already!” wails Anita,

| "Where is he now?" |
“Oh, Diane, I won’t get to bury him! Where is he now? Where are the ashes?”

| "At Maes-y-Deri" |
Gabriella tells her they are at Maes-y-Deri.
As they walk into number 7, Britt tells Siôn they have to sort this out.

| Britt explains the situation . . . |
“Colin is training to be an Aromatherapist – that means having to practise. I love massages, so Colin has been practising on me – we’re not having an affair!” Siôn is aggrieved that she has not told him, and Colin assures him that it is completely professional.

Siôn accepts that nothing is in fact going on, and Colin insists that Iolo should apologise;

“I’m sorry, Britt, Dad,” he says, “But it did look suspicious.”

Then Colin prompts Iolo to apologise to him as well. A stifled laugh is heard from the kitchen;

Wiliam appears to find the proceedings quite amusing.

Kelly visits Gethin and tells him, “I’ve just seen Ffion in the Deri with a bottle of wine. You should get over there, pronto!”
When Dai gets back from “a couple of shots of whisky after losing a friend,”

Diane announces that she is not going to Patagonia after all, so he can stop worrying about the cost. Dai informs her that he was anxious about her safety;

“Patagonia is far away, and South America is a dangerous place – there are drugs barons everywhere!”

| Diane admits that she knew about Meic . . . |
Diane reveals to him that she knew about Meic’s deterioration and that she, together with Mark, had been trying to stop Anita from going.

Ffion returns home, laden with shopping; “Too many bags and not enough arms,” she says, as she finds the mobile she left behind. “I went round the shops and got some stuff for school.

“Then I went to the Deri, grabbed a bottle of wine . . . and then put it back! I passed the test – I think I can do this, and it’s thanks to you! The fact that you trust me means everything. This feeling is better than being drunk! And I’ve bought veg for a stir-fry –

Gethin says he has to check that Geraint locked up the garage, but goes directly to see Kelly, who asks, “Do you want help to carry Ffion upstairs?”

Gethin tells her to stay away and stop causing trouble, but she maintains she has a duty to Jinx to look out for Arwen.
“This is nothing to do with Jinx or Arwen,” rages Gethin, “You just wanted me to doubt Ffion! Why are you so bitter? It’s not my fault, or Ffion’s that you’re on your own!”

Kelly answers, “You’re in a no-win situation – if she drinks, you have to clear up the mess, if she doesn’t, she has no use for you!”

Before he storms out, Gethin tells her, “I’m not listening to a spiteful cow who blames everyone else for her own problems! Go back to your hole!”

At Maes-y-Deri, Anita and Gabriella are arguing over the urn,

and Mark tells them they must have a sensible chat about things.

| Anita wants there to be a grave |
Anita wants to bury the ashes, so they have a grave, but Meic’s wish was that there should be no grave, as he remembers Anita standing by the graves of Eira and Dwayne.

“He was thinking of you until the end,” Gabriella assures her, “And his last words were, ‘Tell Anita I love her.’”
Anita sobs, “I don’t know if I can scatter his ashes – give me time to think.”

| Diane wants to confess, but Mark advises against it |
At the bar in the Deri, Diane proposes to tell Anita everything, as, “Confession is good for the soul,” but Mark is insistent that they cannot tell Anita and Debbie now.

Debbie has been thinking about this cremation business, and would like to be cremated. “Have you got time beforehand to buy a round?” asks Dai.

Behind the bar, Siôn apologises to Britt for doubting her, and she points out that he does things behind her back.

“You are treating me like the enemy, and we’re on the same side,” she says.
“Sometimes I feel that I’m to blame for everything,” admits Siôn, and Britt again assures him that they will think of something to sort out the debt. “Would you mind if Colin doesn’t practise on you any more?” enquires Siôn,
