Anita is ready to leave
Anita has her case packed and has remembered passport, tickets and money.   As she is ready to leave, there is a knock at the door, and Gabriella enters.
Then her hopes are cruelly dashed
Anita is horrified;  “Oh, no!   Please, no!   I’m too late!” she wails, and clings to Kelly for consolation.
Kelly asks Gabriella, “When?” and is told Meic died on Thursday.   “He wanted me to tell you face to face,” Gabriella tells Anita.
"He wanted to be buried in Anglesey"
“Someone should be with him – he wanted to come back to Wales and to be buried in Anglesey.   You should have let me know!”   When told that Meic did not want Gabriella to contact her,
"You've stolen my last chance!"
Anita shrieks, “That suited you fine, didn’t it?   You changed Meic the minute you set foot in the village, and now you’ve stolen my last chance to say goodbye to him!”
Gabriella leaves number 10
As Gabriella creeps disconsolately from number 10, Debbie sees her from the café.
Debbie hears the news . . .
Debbie learns that Meic has died,
. . . then Mark . . .
and tells Mark, who is passing;
. . . then Hywel and Colin . . .
Hywel overhears and tells Colin the news.
. . . and Britt
Then Colin passes the message to Britt, adding, “The place won’t be the same without him.”
He also asks Britt if she is stressed today, and she replies that she is still worried about Garry, so Colin suggests, “If you’ve got time – practice makes perfect, so they say!”
Iolo sees them go into number 7
As they cross the road and go into number 7, Iolo comes round the corner and sees them.
"He was always there for us"
Upon hearing the news, Sheryl says, “He was always there for us, no matter what, like a father.   I wonder what he’d think of me now, what I intend to do with Llwyncelyn.”
"We could forget the idea"
Hywel suggests if it is making her feel uncomfortable, they could forget the idea, but Sheryl is adamant;
"You think I'm giving up?"
“You think I’m giving up?   Meic not agreeing won’t stop me!”
He invites her to sit on the sofa with him, but she has other ideas;
The old Sheryl has gone
“You want to try and soften me up!   It was the old Sheryl who needed comforting – not me!   The old Sheryl was happy to forget her dreams – the problem is you prefer the old Sheryl, the weak, pathetic one.   I want what’s best for this baby – I’m going for a walk, alone.”
Ricky remembers when he thought his Dad was dead
Ricky remembers how he felt when he thought his Dad had died, and Gabriella says she is not welcome at Anita’s, and will stay in a hotel.
"I'll go back to the flat"
Debbie tells her, “There’s no need – I’ll go back to the flat, and you can stay here.”   Ricky asks if she will feel safe there.
This does look a little incriminating
As Colin and Britt come downstairs, Britt comments, “You’ve got magical hands!”   Iolo is watching them and angrily remarks,
"No need to ask what you've been doing!"
“There’s no need to ask what you’ve been doing!   Since when have you two been . . .?”
"You don't think we were . . .?"
Britt responds, “Hold on - you dont think we were . . .?” and tells Colin not to divulge what they were doing.
"I'm training to be an Aromatherapist"
However, after she has left, Colin reveals that he is training to be an Aromatherapist, and Britt is kind enough to let him practise on her.
Iolo is not convinced;  “We live in the same house – I’d know if you were an Aromatherapist!”   Colin maintains that he is keeping it secret, to avoid facetious comments, until he feels he is good enough.   “Siôn has a right to know it Britt is being unfaithful,” Iolo insists, and Colin replies that she is not being unfaithful, at least with him.
"Stay away from her, or I'll tell Dad!"
“Stay away from her, or I’ll tell Dad,” is Iolo’s ultimatum.
"I'm going, to bring him home"
Anita bemoans the fact that she should be almost at Heathrow by now, looking forward to seeing Meic, where he was living and what was around him.   “I’m going to Patagonia, to bring him home,” she tells Kelly,
"You can't go all that way on your own"
who tries to dissuade her from flying halfway round the world on her own.
Mark does not want her to leave
Mark finds Debbie packing her things to make room for Gabriella, but he tells her he does not want anyone suffering because Meic has died;
"I'll sleep on that sofa!"
“I shall sleep on the sofa, so take that bag back upstairs.”
"I thought we were doing the right thing"
He tells Gabriella that he thought they were doing the right thing, stopping Anita going to Patagonia, but she has been breaking her heart.   Gabriella, however, insists that seeing Meic would not have helped anyone.
A touch of jealousy there
Mark emphasises she is welcome to stay as long as she wants.
Sheryl at Bethania . . .
Sheryl is sitting alone in Bethania, looking upward, when Hywel arrives,
. . . is soon joined by Hywel
and says he does not want her to feel guilty about what they are doing to Gaynor.
"You're the one feeling guilty"
“You’re the one feeling guilty,” she tells him.
“We should take more time,” he urges her, “Divorce, having a baby and moving house are all major things, and we’re doing all three at the same time.”
"The baby is the most important thing"
She says she is willing to slow down if that is what he wants, and as long as the baby is all right, that is the most important thing.
"It still comes as a shock"
Then Debbie arrives at the chapel, carrying a bunch of flowers;  she tells Sheryl she is not all right, but Mark and Ricky are looking after her.   “Although we were expecting it, it still comes as a shock.   I still thought he’ll walk into the café and shout at me about something!”
"Should I have fought harder to keep Meic?"
Debbie sometimes thinks that she should have fought harder to keep Meic when he want back to Anita;
"You're lucky, you can start again"
“But you can’t fight dying.   I’ve got three children, and not one lives with me permanently.   You’re lucky, you can start again,” she tells Sheryl.
"I didn't know how Siôn would react"
Colin catches up with Britt outside the Deri, and she tells him she kept quiet about the Aromatherapy as she did not know how Siôn would react.
Oh, here comes Iolo again!
Then Iolo approaches again, saying, “You can’t keep away from each other, and right under Dad’s nose.”
"You and your filthy mind!"
Colin responds, “It’s your problem if you don’t believe me – you and your filthy mind!”   Britt tells Iolo that she is not unfaithful, but she will tell Siôn about his allegation;  then as soon as he is gone, she assures Colin that she will not tell Siôn , and that the whole thing will soon fizzle out.
"I've realised a few things"
Back at the flat, Sheryl advises Hywel, “Meic’s death has made me realise a few things.   Life’s too short to compromise – I want this baby to have more than Wil had, and I want more than I have at the moment.”
"What about what I want?"
Hywel enquires, “And what about what I want?”   She replies that if he loves her, he will want the same thing.   She will do anything if it will benefit her and the baby.
Anita rings Mark . . .
While Kelly is still trying to convince Anita not to go,
. . . and tells him she is going
she rings Mark to tell him she is going to Patagonia on Thursday, and feels much better now.
She wants to see Gabriella in the morning
Then she wants to speak to Gabriella, who agrees to go and see her tomorrow.
Gabriella looks very upset, and as Mark and Debbie look,
Gabriella produces an urn
she produces a decorated urn.
"Whoa!" exclaims Mark
 “Whoa!” exclaims Mark, and Debbie simply asks, “Meic?”

Gabriella nods her head
Gabriella nods her head.
